Diving Into August, 2017

Or Taking The Plunge And Diving Into The Last Full Month of Summer, 2017!

The alternate title here reflects the urgency of this post. Believe it or not, for we who live in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the final complete month of Summer, 2017 (the Autumn Equinox is September 22). Unfortunately for us, the transition is fast approaching. Those residing in the Southern Hemisphere are perhaps eagerly anticipating the change as it brings to them opportunities that we enjoyed a few months ago.

As this is my first entry here on ReNude Pride for this month, I want to encourage all who are reading or visiting this site to plan now to take full advantage of every opportunity to enjoy what remains of this month. Four days have already passed so now’s the time to review schedules and make the time for leisure fun before its too late.

Whereas diving may not be appreciated by everyone, it is representative of making the best of what little time remains of this season. Taking the plunge refers to casting off any timid apprehensions and enjoying the days of Summer before they’re all gone.

Many people tend to procrastinate their recreational activities until they exhaust all their options. When that happens, we all sit back and ask ourselves: What happened to all the summer fun? I’ve been guilty of this in the past and I know I’m not alone in doing so. Please accept this gentle, friendly reminder that the passage of time doesn’t stop for any of us.

There’s too much to enjoy about being outdoors, being totally clothes-free and having your bare skin enveloped by the sun, the water and the air. Many who experience it once feel the need to repeat it again and again. Before to cooler then cold weather arrives, get out of your kit and “do a dive” for August, 2017! Liberate your body, mind and soul!
