Bare Travel

Taking the subway is a hassle-free means to get to your destination. There would be even less stress involved if those of us who are bare practitioners (naturists/nudists) could enjoy the convenience of travelling clothes-free as is Daniel Shoneye in the photograph above. I know for a fact that if nudity were allowed, I’d subway all over the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Alas, that’s probably never going to happen anytime soon but at least I can hope for clothes-freedom somewhere in my future!

This is the week of the Thanksgiving holiday here in the USA. A time when families are supposed to gather together, set aside their petty squabbles and share a festive meal together celebrating another successful harvest. That’s the general theory behind the concept of the holiday. For the majority, the reality is far different.

Due to the holiday, this is the busiest travel period in the U.S. More people travel for this holiday than any other time throughout the year. The mode of transportation makes no difference, busses, airplanes, and automobiles all compete for space and speed on the airways and highways.

Driving can be a true pain during the holiday time of year. Distracted and frustrated drivers often do thoughtless stunts when behind their steering wheel. One way to relieve the stress while travelling is to drive naked. That enables us to enjoy maximum bare time while sitting in traffic congestion. It also gives us ample opportunity to eye other drivers and the one’s who catch our attention, we can always try to imagine them nude as well.

There are certain considerations to driving bare. One being that while other drivers may not see your full nudity, they’ll probably be curious as to why you’re driving shirtless (if they only knew the full story!). The second is that truck-drivers and those who drive in over-sized vehicles such as an SUV can get the full view of you in all your glory (nude).

It is also recommended that you always drive at the posted speeds. Exceeding the limits may find you being stopped by law enforcement. Explaining the reason for driving bare may be awkward.

Of course, changing the laws to allow public nudity would solve all our problems. I wonder if it’s possible to fast-forward the legislative process?
