To everyone reading or visiting here, best wishes for both a happy and safe Easter holiday! The Orthodox community is observing our Easter celebration next Sunday! The Easter celebrations occasionally fall on the same date, usually maybe every five or six years. If this is the weekend of your Easter have fun and remember it’s never too late to decorate your body for the holidays!
The bunny has been somehow linked to this Spring holiday as the deliverer of the traditional Easter baskets. Although it is a favored image of the young, few of us abandon the thrill of being excited of a bare man wearing bunny-ears who is clothes-free and hopping our way with a basket full of treats! The very thought of that is enough to keep the majority of us always “young at heart!” No doubt, many of us would be delighted to see him hopping his way into our lives!
The Easter egg has long been associated with the holiday as a symbol of rebirth. The return of natural life during this season of the year. The decoration of the egg is to return us all to the time of festivity and happiness!
