Every year, the month of December presents an opportunity to feature not just one, but two presentations for the Bottom’s Up! feature here. One for the end of the month and yet another commemorating the end of the current calendar year: 2017. So sit back, clothes-free, of course, and enjoy the post! Extraordinary bare buttocks as a farewell to the passing year!
Today’s post celebrates the end of the month, December, 2017. I offer this to all and as a special salute to those reading ReNude Pride and who hail from the Southern Hemisphere. You’re now entering into your Summer season. Take care, stay bare and above all, enjoy the warm weather, the sunshine and all the bare men surrounding you! Remember to generously use sunscreen as you venture outdoors!
As someone who has absolutely no sentimental attachment to the phrase, “Winter Wonderland,” the best way that I can imagine celebrating the Winter Holidays is best described as tropical nudity. For me, the epitome of “merry,” “happy” and “joyful” is to be as bare (naked, nude) as possible under palm trees with the outdoor temperatures hovering or above what others may deem h-o-t! Personally, that would be the perfect time to celebrate what others may determine a “most magical time of the year!”
Yesterday, I was reading a blog that I follow titled My Truth, My Clarity. Click the title to view. The site is written by a man named Anthony, whom I’ve never met but I enjoy his excellent writing skills and respect his thoughts and ideas. This particular post he named “Most vs. Least” in which he posted the three things that he most liked about himself and the three things that he least liked about himself. One of his honest revelations made me feel uncomfortable and that, in turn, led me to this post today.
Halloween originated as holiday here in the U.S. where children were encouraged to dress in a disguise or a costume, go door-to-door and ask: “Trick or treat?” The concept was for their neighbors to reward then with a treat if they would leave without any sort of trick or prank being exchanged. It must have worked as this custom is now observed around the world and not just here in the USA. However, modern life has caused some modification to this celebration.
Most of us associate skinny-dipping (nude swimming) with summer fun, which it truly is. However, the first several weeks in Autumn are also conducive to skinny-dipping. It is extremely rare for the season’s to drastically change overnight. For most of us, we live in region’s where there’s usually a transition period of gradually moderating temperatures once the seasonal change occurs. This transitional period varies from region to region as well as from year to year.
No matter how hard some men may try, there’s simply no escaping it. If you’ve been wearing your swim-suit all season long, every time you’re at the beach or pool. the first time that you decide to go bare, it’s going to be obvious to all: ‘This is one of the few times that you’ve been nude in your birthday suit this summer.” It just isn’t possible to fool Mother Nature and all your bare brethren.
I came across this photo and posting while cruising through wordpress.com about two weeks ago and was immediately interested in the story behind (both figuratively and literally) the image and the circumstances. I was curious as to how an active duty U.S. service-member could pose and/or allow himself to be photographed in the nude while performing his official duties. I honestly wasn’t expecting a real-life tale of heroism, much less a naked and patriotic one!
Congratulations! Today is the final day of June, 2017! Summer is now officially here! Don’t waste another day, get outside and skinny-dip before it is too late!
“Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.”
” There was no gay pride before Stonewall. Only gay fear and gay isolation and gay distrust and gay self-hatred.”
~ Edmund White
We’re all living in the post-Stonewall Riots era. Every day remember to be proud, naked and gay!
It’s the first day of the month of May: May Day. I remember the traditional May Day celebration from my elementary school days when we would all hold onto a crepe-paper streamer and circle around the May Pole. I don’t remember anyone explaining to us the origins of this custom, and not many of my contemporaries even recall this minor frivolity, but at the school that Alex, my identical twin brother, and I attended, St. Mary’s Primary School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, it was an annual event that we all were required to participate in.
“Full nakedness! All joys are due to thee,
As souls unbodied, bodies unclothed must be,
To taste whole joys.” ~ John Donne, poet and priest
For this reason, the date, May 1, has always held some significance for me. Perhaps it was instilled in me because the May Day ritual that we observed in primary school provided a welcome distraction from our daily classroom routine. It might even be due to the fact that I’ve always had an aversion to the cold weather and usually when the month of May arrived the frigid temperatures were always a thing of the past.
I’m a grown man now (at least, chronologically) and I’m too old to dance around a Maypole in a schoolyard. But that doesn’t mean that I still don’t get excited about the arrival of the month of May each year.
I can fondly remember my Maypole experiences from my childhood. I can enjoy these memories while doing bare hand stands in our garden! Why not replace a youthful May tradition with a nude one now that I’m an adult? My “inner-child” can scarcely wait to strip out of my clothes and welcome the Spring sunshine onto my bare body! As a matter of fact, I think I’ll do just that right now!
Happy May Day, 2017!
