Athletics – sports – the activities and competitions most of us participated in from our pre-adolescent youth until collegiate years and beyond. Usually as amateurs (non-paid), a few among our members actually qualified for professional status at some point in their lives. Regardless, we engaged in sports in order to bask in the “thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!”
Sports, whether organized league play or haphazard spontaneous “for fun” endeavour, has appealed to our competitive nature, skills contesting, time consumption and socialization wants. It meets and serves these basic human needs plus it affords us a prime chance at social nudity – namely – athletically bare! Who among us requires more reasoning than that?
The best reality we encounter when engaging in bare athletics is that practically every sport that we play wearing clothing is equally able to be enjoyed wearing only our natural skin and nothing else! Not even shoes and socks are mandatory. Simply the game equipment and whatever personal accessory a person may require (eyeglasses, wristband, etc.) and nothing else! Let’s try hard to keep it all simple!
Clothes freedom for many is one of the main attractions for participation in nude recreation week in general and naked sports in particular. The fact that we can essentially be ourselves – bodies only, no clothes or uniforms – without any superficial layers (coverings) is an element that once inspired the ancient Greeks to compete in the original Olympic games.
Less is better, right? Naked sports, fun for everyone!
