January, 2018, is now almost a time completely in the past-tense. The winter holiday season has passed and so has the first month of the now not-so-new year. This month was my first anniversary of my return to blogging here under the title, ReNude Pride. It was a hectic but fun year for me both in my personal life but also as a dedicated blogger. Probably, it was the blogging aspect that made the year seem both hectic and fun simultaneously.
Month: January 2018
Reflections: End of January, 2018
During this month, my second January composing this site, ReNude Pride, my thoughts turned to an observation that a fellow bare practitioner and good friend once shared with me: “When in doubt, get naked. If he objects to it, he’ll walk away from you. If he strongly objects, he’ll run away from you. If he accepts it, he’ll sit with you. If he’s comfortable with it, he’ll get naked with you.” And that is exactly how my good friend and I initially met one another.
A Penny For My Thoughts? Blogging Update
Author’s Note: This month, January, 2018, is my first anniversary of blogging here with the title: ReNude Pride. Today’s post is a celebration of this blogging achievement.
As this month rapidly approaches closing, I would be completely an ungracious fool if I allowed this occasion to pass by without publicly thanking the man who enables me to do this, the man that I love and have committed my life to, my spouse, Aaron. I am grateful for not only his support of my efforts here, but his patiently listening as I share my ideas for this site. I love you, my man!
S’Naked!
S’naked is nothing more than a combination of the words, snow + naked = s’naked. As the combination suggests, it is a variety of activities that bare practitioners (naturists, nudists) engage in when outside in the snow. It involves whatever activities the men who are s’naked wish to engage in, from snow-ball battles to lying down and creating snow angels. The possibilities are endless and there are no guidelines as to what does or does not constitute s’naked. That’s the beauty of being bare in the snow!
Southern Hemisphere Salute!
ReNude Pride in this post salutes all of its followers and readers who live in the Southern Hemisphere and are now enjoying their Summer! Have fun, be safe and please remember to wear sunscreen whenever you go outside. We all want you to be able to enjoy every day of your sand, sun and surf season. This post also reminds those of us who live outside of that region that those happier days will soon be returning to us as the seasons progress.
Challenge Yourself! Try Bare!
People have a remarkable tendency to fear what they haven’t yet experienced and to stress over what may or may not be worth the effort. I don’t know why this happens unless it is just an aversion to the “unknown.” We don’t know the outcome so we approach something with dread and trepidation. Funny, we all came into this world not knowing what our respective lives had in store for us. Did that make us shy away from the birth process? If you’re reading this post, then we all know the answer to that question.
Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Holiday
The above image shows the facial profile of the Reverend Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. with the Washington Memorial in the background. The statue of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., is located in Washington, D.C., USA and is a centerpiece of the Martin L. King Memorial Park along the Potomac River. The park and the monuments it contains are a tribute to both the ideals, life, and legacy of Dr. King and honor his place in the history of the USA and celebrate his stature among all the peoples of the world.
Bare Friendships! Part II
Author’s Note: This post is the second installment of a true account of my friendship with my best bare buddy (BBB), Jay. The first of this series published here one week ago, January 5, 2018, click the title to view: Bare Friendships, Part I. This series is a part of my first anniversary celebration of ReNude Pride.
The true saga of the unusual beginnings of one of my best bare practicing friend, Jay. This tells the story of our misadventures while having to wear clothes, after initially meeting when we were both bare.
Bad News: The Flu
No matter what our clothing status maybe, bare (naked, nude) or clothed (textile or clothes-wearer), the pesky and troublesome virus known as influenza (flu) often preys on us all. It doesn’t discriminate because of what we do, or don’t, wear. It can, and does, affect all of us, gay (same gender loving), bisexual (dual gender loving) and opposite gender loving (straight) indiscriminately and without mercy. As a health-conscious man, I dutifully received my annual flu shot for this season on December 1, 2017. Less than three weeks later, I was diagnosed with the flu.
Bare Friendships! Part I
Author’s Note: In celebrating the first anniversary of my return to blogging here, I’m sharing this two-part true account of my friendship with “Jay” (Jason) and how we initially met and became friends. This month marks the anniversary of both the beginning of my friendship with Jay and my return here (January, 2017).
Sometimes, meeting someone else when the both of you are completely nude (bare, clothes-free or naked) can lead to interesting situations that not only present special challenges but humorous outcomes. The uniqueness of the shared experience often can create a bond between the two individuals that survives issues of both distance and time. Such was the case for my good friend (Jay) and I when we first met on Saturday, January 3, 2009. The fact that we’re still close friends and that the humor involves clothes and two committed bare practitioners (naturists/nudists) makes our relationship even better and stronger.
