September, 2017, is almost over and another season of sand, sun and surf – Summer, 2017, – has already ended. As I’ve previously written here on ReNude Pride, for me, this has, until recently, always been a sad time of the year. I’ve never been a fan of the cooler and colder temperatures. Even as a child, I was content to stay indoors during Autumn and Winter and preferred not to venture outside until the warmer temperatures had arrived. That’s always been my nature and how I’ve lived my life. It’s only through individual counseling and group therapy that I, at least, understand why I am this way.
During this month, actually, it was the week during which summer officially ended, I discovered a piece of art on the internet that I am very excited about. The piece is posted here below:
Those who know me already know that I am a life-long skinny-dipping (naked swimming) enthusiast. This particular rendering shows the guy in the waves with his swim-suit held high above his head. Obvious deduction: he’s skinny-dipping as he has no other visible clothing on his body. Why am I so thrilled? Well, art reflects life and as a bare practitioner, I appreciate for any and all visual affirmations of our clothes-free living! My joy on seeing this was so overpowering that I couldn’t wait until next summer to share this with you. Now, I just need to remember that I have it.
During September, 2017, I added a new feature to ReNude Pride that I trust you’ll enjoy. I’ve named it “Friday Footnote” and published the first one on Friday, September 22. As Fridays are already one of my traditional publishing days, I faced a dilemma this month with my Last Day of Summer post on Thursday, September 21. How could I follow that one a day later? That’s when I developed the idea of a “Friday Footnote.” The footnote can explain the previous posting. Friday Footnotes will appear on Fridays when there has been a post on the prior Thursday. A Friday Footnote will use the image below.
These footnotes may also relate to a topic previously posted on ReNude Pride. As information changes, either through human advancement or through current events, the footnotes feature offer a convenient tool to keep pace in our ever-evolving world. The Friday Footnotes isn’t intended to become a monthly feature here on ReNude Pride. I’ll use it whenever it’s necessary.
