Today is designated International Skinny Dip Day (ISDD) by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). It is observed annually on the second Saturday of July. A date originally used to challenge the record on the largest number of skinny-dippers in one location. It evolved from that goal into a “day of fun in the sun!”

Skinny-dipping simply means swimming naked. Unless designated for a particular purpose, it has no official agenda aside from having fun and playing in the water, whether it is an indoor or outdoor pool, ocean, lake or river. The sole unifying factor is being in the water without any swimsuit!

For those of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere, this date falls during our summer season, ample opportunity for many skinny-dipping experiences during the ideal temperatures!
Happy International Skinny Dip Day!
Take care and stay bare!
