Reflections: End of September, 2019

Once again, another month of this year has almost completely passed by! This year has amazed me due to the excessive speed in which it is disappearing. I can hardly believe that we are now into Autumn – there are many moments where I ask myself, What the hell happened to our summer? For me, it seems as though it was only last week when we were busy welcoming in the new year!

I suppose that I really shouldn’t complain or regret that we’ve come this far. I guess that I should be happy that 2019 is almost behind us. Better to look forward to an improvement in the future than bemoan what is already almost past.

The month of September, unlike the months preceding it, offered only weekend opportunities for outdoor nudity. School began on September 3. With that beginning, my days became primarily focused on the education of university students and, unfortunately, not on my time as a bare practitioner (naturist or nudist). Although the weekends during this month have been pleasant and sunny – ideal for spending time bare and outside – I do miss the long days of clothes freedom that usually accompany the summertime.

This upcoming weekend (Saturday, September 28), my spouse, Aaron, and I, along with my identical twin brother, Alex, and his current partner, will drive from here down to Richmond, Virginia, where Alex and I both grew up. Richmond is holding its annual GLBTQ pride festival. We’re going just for the day and plan to leave to drive back in the early evening. I’m not exactly certain why Richmond celebrates pride in September, but the weather predictions are for a terrific day.

The unfortunate aspect of this planned excursion is that being bare is most definitely not permitted at this event. That seriously limits any nude possibilities for this weekend! With Alex and his friend staying with us Saturday night, hopefully Sunday will be as pleasant and permit us some bare opportunities outdoors!
