The Shoneye twins pose for the visuals today – Aaron, my spouse, and I depart for eight days to see my mother at her home on Skyros, Greece. We both know the time will pass “all-too-soon” and upon return it is “back-to-work” for me as the autumn semester begins at my university.
As I am composing this post entry here, all is fine with my mother and my siblings and their families. It has been almost a full year since Aaron and I last visited and we both needed to take the journey during decent weather and before job schedules become too chaotic and frantic!
A tardy footnote: the “east” in the title of this piece refers to the direction of our flight from Toronto, not anywhere else! Returning home in eight days we’ll fly west! We also wanted to wait until after our anniversary, thus no reason for an obligatory family celebration!
There are no major plans or projects for this trip other than spending time with Mom and siblings. Family is the priority here and everything else is on a spontaneous basis. In essence, if we have the time, fine. Otherwise, maybe another day and another trip!
Our plans are to post ReNude Pride: Guys Without Boxers! according to our regular schedule while here. In the event anyone is curious, the postings will be in English, not Greek!
