As a confirmed, devoted and loyal bare practitioner – by birth and by choice – it is an accepted and expected fact that Alex, my identical twin brother and I swim nude (skinny-dip). Neither one of us have a reason to discard, dispute and/or ignore this established reality of our lives. The same applies to both my spouse, Aaron and myself! This proverbial apple did not fall too far from the original tree! No benefit, incentive or reward is offered so why even bother to change!
As we observe the final official (recognized) weekend of the 2026 summer season here in the Northern Hemisphere, aquatic indulgence is compatible, convenient in addition to being also fun and healthy! This time of the year is ending now so enjoy very much what time we have remaining!
A weekend of wetness – of experiencing the exciting freedom of being all natural in our nakedness in full view of both nature and the sun – is an applicable and appropriate commemoration of the end of summer. An amazing and awesome means to bid a fond farewell (good-bye) to the season!
The location of our salutation to summer makes no difference. Either a natural body of water (lake, ocean, river, etc.) or a man-made creation (canal, pool or landscaped into) is all good. It keeps us cool and wet!
Of course, we all know that the weather transition from summer to autumn isn’t dramatic and instantaneous. It is gradual and tranquil. There are some days with ample opportunity to skinny-dip (swim naked) still ahead. Fortunately, that is the exclusive advantage of being able to go skinny-dipping – it is completely spontaneous and requires no attire! Nakedness only! In the official records, however, it will no longer occur within the designation of summer.
Thank you, summer of 2026, for all the memories and times of frolic, fun, happiness, sand, sun, surf and waves! They will remain within our hearts and minds for many years to come!
