I suppose I shouldn’t be so impatient, but I am at last able to share the fact that a “taste” of Spring-like temperatures have belatedly arrived in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area! By no means is the winter completely finished – I am much too savvy in the fickle patterns of weather to admit that. There are some aspects of life that never change and one of those is the reliability of our weather. The later days of this past week and the weekend provided us with a sampling of what’s (hopefully) coming our way!
Even though it isn’t a permanent feature yet, the warm, sunny days restored my confidence in Mother Nature and warmed my soul. I was foolishly going to write “warmed my heart” but fortunately had the foresight not to repeat mistake again!
The last time that I wrote something like that, my spouse (and harshest critic), Aaron, was not too pleased with my choice of words. Let me just share that I will most definitely think twice before I make that mistake again!

Sweet article. I’m happy to learn that temperatures in SOME areas of the northeastern U.S. are improving to the point of [preferably nude] human tolerances.

Great post Roger. We have finally reached seasonal temperatures here as well. Last snow we had 1 week and a half ago is all gone and time to start thinking about prepping our garden. We’re crossing our fingers that spring is actually here. Naked Hugs !
