February Is Fickle!

An extremely fickle month! One day it is pleasant enough to take a hike in the bare and barren woods  – then the next day be forced to bundle under a dozen layers of clothing before stepping outside on the way to work. The month is notoriously unpredictable as to the outdoor temperatures and often bounces from one extremity to the next. If this is caused by global warming, then someone needs to educate the political leadership!

The joy of being s’naked (snow + naked) is a much appreciated winter past-time for numerous bare practitioners (naturists or nudists) but even that typical adventure isn’t always a possibility given the fickleness of the month of February. Even though snow is usually a regular seasonal phenomenon, it isn’t always a guaranteed reality. Sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn’t.

Indoor events are customarily a staple social nudity function for this time of the year. Most people have no problems with dressing to arrive at the gathering, stripping upon arrival and socializing with other bare bodies, then dressing for the return trip home. However, if the weather is unseasonably warm outside, many opt to forego the social function in order to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy themselves in nature before a return to the usual frigidity. Who can blame them?

The erratic weather does tend to make February very fickle. This characteristic or trait isn’t helped by the fact that this same month is usually inconsistent. One year, February can be brutally cold, the following year, the outdoor temperatures can be very mild. Yet another year can be noted as being a snow-filled winter wonderland only to be followed by one that is drenched in rain.

As much as I despise the cold weather, I am very sorry for the lack of snow this February. I happen to enjoy the s’naked (snow + naked) experience and miss it tremendously!

The above picture demonstrates my s’naked addiction and my obsession. However, it does not mean that I am satisfied with winter weather! I can only be bare in the snow for only a very brief amount of time!

So here’s to saluting February for all of the fickleness that the month offers. It is a perfect month for an extremely fickle person like me! And here’s my heartfelt wish for the arrival of an early springtime!
