It is my honor and privilege to introduce to all of you Dean “Dandy-Deen” , the author of Black Nude Taurus blog (click title to view). He’s the “sleeping beauty” pictured in the photograph above. I met Dean this Spring and we’ve been communicating via text and email throughout our friendship. He’s a very fun guy to know and is a personable nude dude – full of energy and enthusiastic about life. The labels that Dean prefers to use to describe his serious allergy to clothing are: full-frontal, au naturel, nude, naked, bare, unclothed and clothesless. In this regard, he’s my type of man!

Does Size Matter?
The often asked question – with a myriad of responses, some valid and others plainly based on conjecture and/or myth. Does the size of a man’s flaccid (soft, non-erect) penis really matter? Is it all really that important? In a completely asexual world, the answer is probably no. However, we live in a very sexualized world that is very much attuned towards all things physical. That being the case, then more than likely the question’s reply changes to a very emphatic “yes!” Size definitely becomes a primary factor in determining how a man is perceived in the world and, most importantly, how a man sees himself .
Be Careful What You Wish For!
Here in the USA, June is the month that is traditionally set aside as Gay Pride Month. As a result, here on ReNude Pride, I celebrate it as Gay Nude Pride Month and as an occasion to be both as bare (naked, nude) and as same gender loving (gay) as I want. It stands to reason that this time of the year, I feel compelled to offer a few posts that are blatantly focused on being gay and clothes-free. This is one of those aforementioned postings.
World Naked Bike Ride, 2017
The title can be somewhat confusing to those who are unfamiliar with the event, so please allow me to offer a brief clarification. World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) isn’t meant to imply that a person rides all around the world, clothes-free, in one continuous route. It is a global event that takes place in individual cities throughout the world at different times and dates within a calendar year. It is a ride that makes a statement against our dependence on fossil fuels and the riders use their nakedness to underscore that message.
Unity In Our Nudity
The same gender loving (gay) community is often criticized as being racist and elitist. Unfortunately, I can think of numerous instances where this is indeed true and have experienced this myself as a Deaf man and as a man who is married to another man of a different race. Aaron, my husband, has seen many cases where this was true both before we met and since we’ve been together. In the interest of fairness, we remind ourselves that the gay community is merely a reflection of the broader mainstream culture and not an exclusively homocentric (gay-focused) attribute.
June Is GLBTQ Nude Pride Month
Although Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (GLBTQ) Month varies from city-to-city, country-to-country, the official designation for Pride Month, in the USA, is June, annually. Ever since the Stonewall Inn riots, which happened on the evening of June 27 – 28, 1969, this month has held a special place in this community’s collective history. That riot at that small, obscure gay bar, located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City, USA, is recognized across the world as the spark that ignited the long struggle for equal rights for all GLBTQ people, no matter where they live.
End of Month Reflections, May, 2017
May is swiftly coming to a close, the last full month of Spring, 2017. If you haven’t already finalized your nakation (naked + vacation = nakation) plans for this upcoming Summer, now is the time to get this done. Procrastination only brings disappointment and frustration – not to mention being left out of a good time! My husband and I like to begin planning our nakations in early January of each year! And let’s be completely blunt and honest, there are only so many months in Summer, so why take a chance on missing all the fun?
Beach Time!
Summer doesn’t officially begin until June 21, but here in the USA, this is the very unofficial start of the Summer season as it is the Memorial Day weekend, the first three-day holiday weekend of our Summer. The vast majority of the people in this country always look forward to this long weekend as positive proof that the days of “fun-in-the-sun” are at last here. The travel and tourist industries, especially those located in coastal areas, welcome the return of their busiest season of the year.
Before You Bare, Cover Up!
Before I’m inundated with comments and complaints from anyone reading this, please allow me to explain the reason for the title. I am absolutely and emphatically not recommending the wearing of a swimsuit or any other type of garment (unless you legally must). What I am encouraging everyone to do is to make sure that you cover yourself completely in sunscreen before you venture outside in the sun. No matter where you live: the Arctic Circle or Asia, Australia or Africa, Europe or North and South America. Protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, regardless of location, gender or race.
Sitting While Bare
All of us are acutely aware of the niceties of manners and how we’re supposed to act and behave when in “polite society” (whatever that is) or when we’re out and about in public. For men, this means sitting with our legs comfortably close together so that we’re not offering a full view of our crotch (genital area). I guess this was a custom so as not to appear too “suggestive” or offensive to any ladies (women) who happened to be present. As a male bare practitioner (naturist/nudist), I understand this logic.
