Spring Forward!

Resetting the giant clock!

A welcome prologue to the arrival of Spring each year is the “official” change to daylight savings time! In 2021, this occurs today, March 14, at exactly 2:00 a.m. When the clock reaches the “anointed” hour, it needs to be reset (automatically, digitally or manually) to the new time of 3:00 a.m. – in other words, advance the time precisely one full hour (hence the post title: “Spring Forward.”)

Adjusting time!

As both my spouse, Aaron, and I had endless commitments yesterday, last night, before crawling into bed at midnight – old style time – we reset our clocks and watches ahead for one hour before falling asleep. This enabled us to wake-up this morning without confusion, Why interrupt a dream needlessly at 2:00 a.m.?

No matter where you wear your watch, reset the time!

Typically for most bare practitioners, we welcome this seasonal debut with open arms. The time change affords us the opportunity to adapt to this routine before the official arrival of Spring on March 20, 2021. Theoretically, this “extra” hour of daylight gives us additional time, daily, to spend “natural in nature” together as well as with our bare practitioner acquaintances and friends!

A well deserved relief and respite from being home-bound for the entire winter!

Contemplating the time change!

The initiation of the daylight savings time principle began in the early 20th Century. During the Great War (World War I, 1914 – 1918) the production of armaments created shortages and necessitated the conservation of energy resources through to expansion of daylight. Once this concept was introduced, it was undertaken in all the belligerent nations, irregardless of their alliances. Twenty years later, the commencement of World War II (1939 – 1945) reintroduced the same need and solution. Following that conflict, the hostile “Cold War” (1949 – 1989) mentality led to the annual incorporation of daylight savings time throughout much of the world.

Daylight savings time (DLT) = Bare Practitioner time (BPT)

Happy BPT!

Anxious Glimpses!

Bare, bored and watching television!

“T’is the season to be …restless!” Living in the Northern Hemisphere, March is the traditional transitional month between Winter and Spring and notorious for both boredom and monotony. The overwhelming majority of us bare enthusiasts are relentlessly fatigued with being confined within the walls enclosing us inside our apartments or homes. We’re both eager and ready for the approaching freedom of being outdoors and without our clothes! All carefree and all natural!

“Boxed” inside by the Winter weather!

True to being frustrated and stressed over the enclosures and restrictions of the late Autumn and Winter seasons, many of us anticipate and welcome the upcoming arrival of Spring and our liberation! Once again, empowered and enabled with unlimited access to being nude in our bodies and in our natural world. At long last, our ability to be ourselves once again!

Bored and confused!

I know from personal experience the endlessly dull routine of wandering aimlessly inside our dwelling “looking for something to do!” The almost five consecutive months of hibernation appear to be everlasting. Why even bother to crawl out of our bed in the morning?

Wandering room to room!

We should all begin to rest easier now. Our time of remaining anxious and exiled from the wonders of nature are swiftly coming to a promising end!

Bare hugs!

Covering For Protection!

A selfie photo while wearing his face-mask!

In today’s world, particularly in these uncertain times of the coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic, it is with mixed emotions to be a bare practitioner advocate – such as myself – to compose a shared article encouraging readers to actually wear something! So there is no misunderstanding, I am absolutely not encouraging the wearing of clothes! Honestly, I am much more comfortable and inclined to offer advice and reasons for naked freedom than I am with urging the concealment of any part of the human anatomy. Yet here we are on ReNude Pride doing just that: the wearing of a face-mask!

To avoid any confusion or misinterpretation, I am most definitely not promoting any false sense of modesty or body-shame. After all, this blog extols the excitement and wonders of being a total bare practitioner (male bisexual or gay and a naturist or nudist)!

Health and safety, a “top priority!”

I strongly recommend the use of a face mask (among other guidelines) regularly to reduce the chance of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19. It is indeed a concern of health and safety and not a strategy of puritanical censorship. Cover the mouth and nose only as a precaution against disease transmission.

My spouse, Aaron, and I both – along with many others worldwide – have become bored with having to don a face mask constantly in performing our daily routines and tasks. Like having to wear clothes when out in public, it is now a tiresome chore that confines and restricts our natural preference.

Aaron’s purchase!

Then my hubby (husband) Aaron purchased for us matching face masks (above) that commanded not only our clothes freedom but delivered the identical message to those that we encountered while “out and about” and wearing the face masks!

Since Aaron bought them last October, the reaction to our “face mask with a message” has varied from awesome to supportive. I have received countless “thumbs-up” endorsement signals and “nods-of-the-head” from others who’ve read my mask. My life partner reports the same. Unfortunately, the people that we see are wearing their own face covering so any laughter or smiles remain unseen. I am glad to share here that neither one of us has, as yet, gotten a disparaging or negative response.

Anyone interested in purchasing a mask with the same or similar message can shop for there availability by entering the words: “face mask, nudity, naturist” into their search engine. Also, “rainbow flag” is able to be bought as a face mask. Aaron ordered them for us back in the beginning of the new year!

Bare hugs!

“On Clothes”

Brazilian model and openly gay man Felipe Ferreira exhibits his pride with his tattoo below his throat and his relaxed nudity!

The title of today’s posting here on ReNude Pride is the poem of the same name composed by the celebrated Lebanese born author, philosopher, poet and visual artist, Kahlil Gibran. In this poetic offering, Mr. Gibran shares with us his express appreciation of being bare (clothes free, naked, nude) and his distaste for the concealment of the human body with clothing.

He was born on January 6, 1883, in Bsharri, Lebanon, within what was then part of the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire. He emigrated to the United States along with his mother and two sisters. He died in New York City on April 10, 1931, at the age of 48 years old.

Beneath the image below is Kahlil Gibran’s encouragement and endorsement of being a complete and proud bare practitioner!

Above, Venezuelan-born and hairy chested openly gay male escort and model, Gio Dell (left) and his smooth chest and tattooed and open bisexual half-brother, Armani (right) show us all their bare pride and family unity!

On Clothes

by Kahlil Gibran

And the weaver said, “Speak to us of clothes.”

And he answered: Your clothes conceal much of your beauty,

yet they hide not the unbeautiful.

And though you seek in garments the freedom of privacy,

you find in them a harness and a chain.

Would that you could meet the sun and the wind

with more of your skin and less of your rainment.

For the breath of life in in the sunlight

and the hand of life is the wind.

Some of you say,

“It is the north wind who has woven the clothes to wear.”

But shame was his loom,

and the softening of the sinews was his thread.

And when his work was done he laughed in the forest.

Forget not that modesty is for a shield

against the eye of the unclean.

And when the unclean shall be no more,

what were modesty but a fetter and a fouling of the mind?

And forget not that the earth delights

to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

A beautiful bare beach!

The poet, Kahlil Gibran, unashamedly extols his admiration and devotion to both the concept and practice of being absolutely bare and natural at a time when the very idea of clothes freedom (nudity) was rarely discussed, shared or written about in “polite” society. We all, as today’s bare practitioners, owe to Kahlil Gibran an enormous debt of gratitude for enlightening our world to the magic and the majesty of being nude alone or socially with others. Without the beauty of his praise, this would indeed be a very bland and drab world to reside upon!

Gibran’s early death, due to a severe liver infection brought on by his heavy consumption of of alcohol, denied him the chance to witness the emergence of the same gender loving (bisexual, gay and lesbian) culture that rapidly grew following World War II. Since his demise, there has been significant speculation about his own sexual preference. He had a very close woman supporter while living in New York City. However, their relationship was strictly platonic.

My friend, Deen, in his “fashionista” mode, with his intricately painted body! Check Author’s Note #2 below the visual signature.

There are innumerable bare practitioners who also enjoy donning clothes when it is necessary and appearing in the most current and popular styles of fashion. There is nothing whatsoever wrong or deceitful in doing this. A simple solution for the double pleasure of those who feel this way is the use of body paint to adorn one’s skin with a sense of style as my friend and fellow bare practitioner, Deen, has done in the above photograph. A colorful array to brighten one’s day! Thank you, Deen, for allowing me to use your picture!

Bare Awakening!

A slow awakening today!

Today, March 1, marks the official beginning of the third month of 2021 and for those of us residing in the Northern Hemisphere, the start of the “transition” period from the dregs of Winter into the joys of Spring! Of course, we are all well aware of the fact that the outdoor temperatures and weather do not happen overnight – but what is obvious for us all is the emergence of hope for an approaching new season that allows us delightful expression of our passion for being bare practitioners!

The waking from the gruesome Winter season brings memories of past Spring arrivals that fill many of us with delight that the burdens of the waning season will soon – once, again – be behind us! That’s enough to encourage us all to begin to plan ahead for the upcoming Spring and Summer!

Still asleep but about to awaken!

As the month of March encourages us to recall experiences from our bare practitioner past – especially those we enjoyed before the onset of the the coronavirus COVID-19! It is now time for us all to use this month to creatively explore and investigate activities and events that will enable us all to build our experiences during this second spring and summer where we need to remember health and safety as a major priority.

Mask wearing, physical distancing and vaccinations against infection are highly recommended whenever possible. If we make caution and creativity as contagious as the coronavirus, hopefully, the upcoming seasons will be filled with excitement and fun!

A tempting exposure!

Our man (above) is obviously attempting to entice his viewer into a more intimate and physical relationship. He is using the fact that he is bare underneath his oversized shirt to encourage his potential partner to engage likewise. This example of teasing is an very profound and powerful sampling of encouragement and flirtation during the current coronavirus COVID-19 crisis.

Proudly natural in nature!

Last week, my spouse, Aaron, and I decided on a theme to accompany some of our bare socials this year. BARE being bodies are remarkably exceptional! We are currently planning some type of activity in honor of World Naked Hiking Day, June 21, 2021. We have three male same gender loving friends who are seriously involved with a partner who isn’t experienced in social nudity but interested in exploring the opportunity. Our goal is to use this theme of BARE = bodies are remarkably exceptional to further the cause of being a bare practitioner!

Our project is to encourage the spirit of clothes freedom while at the same time providing a safe and comfortable experience with social nudity for all eight of us to enjoy. As June 21, annually, is always the first day of the Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. we’ve already announced our event and everyone of the four couples involved plan to participate. This date is a Monday so informing our guests this far in advance enables the chance they can be excused from having to work!

Bare hugs!

Bottoms-Up! February, 2021

Bromantic cuddling!

Despite this being the very last day of the month of February, 2021, thus St. Valentine’s Day has already happened, the “month of Cupid and love” frequently encourages an entire month of celebration! Our bottoms-up! couple featured above definitely have no hesitation in showing their bromance and their ASSets! Especially since they’re posing completely bare before an open window – no curtains at all!

Francois Sagat shirtless

Our proud actor cohort, Francois Sagat loses no shame in proudly modelling himself without any clothing whatsoever!

Francois Sagat begins shedding…

He has no qualms in removing his shorts so we all can view his shapely buttocks in all their natural glory!

Francois Sagat gets Bottoms-Up!

The full and proud view!

Francois Sagat and his bare buttocks!

In the above .gifs, Francois Sagat, a very famous and proudly gay film actor and a fine bare practitioner, has no concern with showing off his bare buttocks for all to admire and see! Way to go, Francois! Thanks for stripping off your shorts! It doesn’t take imagination to comprehend he has no false modesty!

British Olympian, Louis Smith, bares his buttocks!

In the above .gif, British Olympian Louis Smith, proudly entices us with a Bottoms-Up! view of his own exceptional “bottom!”

Another image of Louis Smith and his tattooed back and shapely buttocks!

Louis Smith won the gymnastic Bronze Medal for the United Kingdom in the Beijing Olympics in 2008 (and a very subtle yet laudable acknowledgement of his physical attributes)!

A “peace” sign for us all from a very bare Louis Smith!

Four years later, Louis Smith won a gymnastic Silver Medal in the 2012 London Summer Olympiad!

A sprawled Louis Smith models his “bottoms-up!” pose!

Obviously, Louis Smith is very comfortable with clothes freedom!

An equally confident Louis Smith elaborating his hairy armpits!

Thank you, Olympian Louis Smith, for showing off your confidence and pride while posing “totally natural” for the British same gender loving monthly, Gay Times! He has innumerable reasons to share his nudity for us all to admire! His British-Caribbean heritage and finely-toned physique make us all glow and grow with pride! Thank you, Louis!

Bare Vintage Gallery #4!

The end of this series!

Today’s feature: Black History Month: Bare Vintage Gallery #4: Interracial Interaction!

Encouragement!

The overwhelming majority of the photographs posted here during Black History Month, 2021, were made at a time when the different races in this country were segregated (separated) from one another – either by law or simply community practice. This impacted all ethnicities and races, African-American, Caucasian, Hispanic and Indigenous people (Indian or Native American). The pictures here today represent the courage of those defying the law or practice or those with the stamina to take steps to show that different people and races can live in harmony!

Lean on me, late 1960s to early 1970s

The two men above have no problems posing bare together as well as with someone of a different race. There are two pictures of them together, the one above and the one below. Judging from their hairstyles, we determine the timeline of the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

In the image below, they both maintain eye-to-eye contact and exhibit confidence in their shared friendship!

Confident friends, late 1960s to early 1970s

There is no question that the same duo in the above pictures have any concern in posing together, despite their racial identities being different. In the photo below, they maintain their eye-contact and at the same time openly and proudly share their complete nudity!

Proud together!

Cuddling in bed!

The couple above cuddle close together sharing the same bed. A very suggestive scene for this particular time in this country’s history as the laws and restrictions banning interactions between the two races were being opposed by not only the federal government but by tolerant individuals from all walks of life. The hairstyle of the White guy suggests the middle 1960s.

Skinny dipping, early 1960s!

One thing for certain, the pool these guys enjoyed wasn’t open to the public during the timeline suggested by the early 1960s hairstyles. The strict laws enforcing the segregation of the different races would never have allowed the participants to be together at the same pool location. The above photograph would have to have been created in a private setting. These men were very brave!

Bare Vintage Gallery #3!

Bare pride!

Today’s theme: Bare Vintage Gallery #3: Trio or More!

Encouragement!

Sometimes, we find the old adage, “the more the merrier…” as somewhat confusing and misleading. However, when we look at the men from “back in the day” featured in today’s collection, we no longer have any doubts on what wisdom prevails!

A proud trio from the late 1950’s to early 1960’s!

This marks the third Friday during Black History Month, 2021! Thus far, we’ve increased our gallery of vintage photographs from one subject per image and we’re now up to three or more subjects in each photo. As the men above demonstrate, they are all happy to be bare and together! Their hairstyles suggest the timeline in dating the photo. They are free from any body embarrassment or shame! Good job, guys!

All together, middle to late 1960s!

The featured threesome above are very comfortable being clothes-free and in close company with one another. The man on the left has used some type of treatment or relaxer on his hair. His two companions have kept their head hair conveniently short and aren’t in the least bit shy in focusing their attention on their buddy’s penis. Clearly, men do notice the genitalia of other men!

A proud and happy embrace, late 1960s to early 1970s!

The gentlemen posing in the photograph above are pleased and proud to wrap their arms around one another – in friendship or in romance, we’ll never know for certain. The guy in the center and the far right are in their sneakers; the one on the left is in a pair of sandals. The footwear suggests the early 1970s. The hairstyle of the one far right affirms the early 1970s. Again, joyful bare practitioners!

Our trio from above in a late 1960s photo pose!

The identical trio are captured in this picture from several years earlier. No footwear are shown in this pose but the same men enjoy being familiar with their bodies and their physical intimacy. Three pairs of hands encircling his penis and pubic hair only put a pleasured smile on the face of our man in front! Confidence, fun and pride!

After their skinny dipping in the ocean, 2006!

The trio above were photographed after their skinny dipping excursion in 2006. Although this image is not routinely classified as “vintage,” it does qualify as a fun-filled look at our bare practicing past! Thank you, guys!

Personal hygiene!

Communal showers have always afforded men an opportunity to enjoy the comfort of being bare with others. Although not offering privacy, it definitely provides the opportunity to share our nakedness with whomever may appreciate the experience!

More personal hygiene together!

In the two photographs of men showering together above, not a single one of them appear embarrassed or shy about having themselves pictured clothes-free and in the proximity of others. Absolute proof that all men are most assuredly not modest! The hair styling on the men in both images suggest the middle-to-late 1960s. Nice posing, gentlemen!

Happy Valentine’s Day Visuals!

Start Valentine’s Day with a kiss!

February 14 is known throughout the world as St. Valentine’s Day! However, I have no clue whatsoever as to what makes this day special and synonymous with all of us who are so deeply in love with both our lives and our passions! It’s just nice to have a day dedicated to bromance (the love and romance between two men) and our desire to be together!

Valentine’s are usually shown as hearts!

The popular symbol for this special day in the month of February is a red heart and I imagine the image above represents a human heart beating to indicate the commitment to the person to whom the individual enjoys being with and involved with at this time!

Affection + love = desire!

There is no true formula as to how we celebrate and observe this day. Each couple is free to determine their own special circumstances and their determinations, while important to themselves, may be meaningless to others who face the identical desires and emotions!

Joined together in friendship on this day!

Not everyone may view Valentine’s Day as an occasion of physical intimacy and romance. For them. the day may be simply an occasion to convene and be together in brotherhood, camaraderie and friendship. Whatever works best for men is always appropriate for this momentous day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

To each and everyone here today, the very best wishes for a happy Valentine’s Day from ReNude Pride!

Bare Vintage Gallery #2

Flexing his chest!

Today’s theme: Bare Vintage Gallery #2: Double or Duo!

Encouragement

This presentation showcases photographs, all vintage of two men, demonstrating their comfort and pleasure in being bare together. This obviously provides us all the opportunity to compare same gender loving men both today and in year’s past!

J. C. Carter (right) a renown same gender loving actor.

The above picture features the openly gay actor known as J. C. Carter, from Chicago, Illinois. “J. C.” appeared in a number of gay pornographic films and had no qualms about being completely “out” of the closet! He retired from the industry in the early 1990’s. The above picture was taken as his career was just getting started – he had not yet begun shaving his chest, head and pubic hair – and his muscles were underdeveloped. I am uncertain as to identity of his accomplice in this image.

These two men proudly share a kiss in the late 1950s!

The duo above kissed during the early-to-middle 1950’s!

In the two pictures posted above leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that the men involved were obviously attracted to one another. The body language assures us of this reality. In both images, one partner has his hands resting on his partner’s buttocks. This familiarity doesn’t common natural to strangers!

The above male couple together during the early 1950’s!

I have no information on the identities of the male couple featured in the above photo. However, they appear totally comfortable together as this is not the only image of them together – and in the photographs below their bare comfort isn’t the sole confirming indicator of their affection for one another!

The same couple in a late 1950’s pose.

Here again they appear in the late 1950’s.

Depicted above embracing and kissing in the late 1950’s.

The three featured photographs above show the same couple, no longer seated on a bench together but now physically embracing one another. In the last image, they are engaging in a kiss. The timeline let’s us know that a kiss indicates more than just friendship!

Our couple together in the middle 1950’s.

Our “dynamic duo” above from a picture with the year 1955 written on the back of it. Here, they have no reluctance in physical interplay between themselves! It does leave us with at least one unanswered question: “How long were they together?” I salute these proud bare practitioners for their courage in being themselves when the world beyond was often intolerant!

Naked hugs!
