For some strange reason, Halloween is an unofficial holiday that promotes varying degrees of antisocial and awkward behavior among people, especially here in the USA. First, there are those parents who force their offspring to dress in bizarre and often frightening costumes so that they can go out and solicit candy treats from strangers. These unsuspecting youth are taught to intimidate these same strangers with the taunt: “Trick or treat!” Implying that if you don’t give us a treat, we’ll play a trick (prank) on you.

Armistice Day/Remembrance Day/Veterans Day
Throughout the world, tomorrow, the 11th day of the 11th month (November 11), is observed as Armistice Day. On this day in 1918, the armistice or cease-fire was signed and implemented at 11:00 a.m. The armistice ended the carnage and destruction of the Great War (World War I). In the United States, tomorrow is known as Veteran’s Day. In the United Kingdom and throughout the Commonwealth, it is Remembrance Day.
In the USA, it is a time to acknowledge the veterans of all wars, both living and deceased.

It’s the last day of October and it’s also Halloween here in the USA! Happy Halloween and feel free to celebrate by body-painting a pumpkin face on your buttocks – if you dare! For those who may not be quite so adventurous, have fun and be safe, anyway! Just beware of all the ghosts and goblins who come out to play!
A Bare Nightmare From Hell!
As a bare practitioner, my worst possible nightmare (horror of horrors) is being forced to wear clothing or a covering at a clothes-free social event. This nocturnal terror is ten times worse than any imagery described in Dante’s Inferno and is comparable to the proverbial “nightmare from hell.” It even surpasses a recurring dream of an unending and repetitive sequence of visits to the dentist.
