Silly Summer: Living Pillows

When I initially published a “Silly Summer” post last month, it was a one-time only deal. Since then, I’ve discovered some photographs that I really liked and so I’m sharing yet another “Silly Summer” post this month, as well. Upon reflection, I’ve become comfortable with both the title and theme and it may be a regular seasonal feature here on ReNude Pride. After all, if we can’t be both bare and silly during the Summer, then why do we even have to season at all?

There’s no doubt in my mind that there are a number of persons, nude or otherwise, who are offended by the sight of two same gender loving (gay) bare practitioners in close proximity to one another’s gender-specific anatomy (penis).

Buttocks, on the other hand, are not gender specific. They are common to both genders and should not be offensive to anyone. We all have a pair – just as we have hands, feet, etc. Some may be flatter or fuller than others, but overall, there’s nothing truly shocking about them.

So the fact that some may use them on the beach, instead of a pillow, makes sense. Not having to carry around a pillow along with all other beach gear or paraphernalia  or luggage is logical. It’s one less item to lose or to forget. Since the buttocks are a standard human feature, why add to our burdens?

Our buttocks are one of our anatomical features that are usually and naturally well-padded. If we’re going to rest our head on someone that we love, why not use the body part that closely resembles a pillow? To me, it’s much more comfortable that laying my head against my husband’s shoulder. I know he feels the same about resting his head on my buttocks.

It’s nice to have another use for buttocks aside from just parking our bodies on them. I think that would be a very boring and dull existence. Besides, I like the idea of once I’ve put my head on Aaron’s buttocks, all I have left to do is turn my head slightly either way and plant them with a kiss!
