Happy Valentine’s Day!

To commemorate St. Valentine’s Day together, take a photographic “selfie” (self picture) of you and your significant other, boyfriend, or spouse. This tiny gesture not only says “I love you” more than words can ever convey but it also serves as a visual reminder of where you are and who you’re with on Valentine’s Day, 2019. Caution: you may not want to save a bare image of you and your man on your phone, especially if you allow others to use it!

If the two of you have a bromantic (boy + romantic) get-away planned for the weekend, ask a friend or other couple to take a picture of the two of you together just enjoying yourselves and more importantly being yourselves, two men in love! It doesn’t need to be a spectacular pose. Just the two of you having fun – whatever you enjoy – is enough.

Valentinus is the name associated with this celebration of love although there is little historical evidence of either his martyrdom or canonization. In fact, there is some doubt as to whether he even lived.
