The abundance of both festive and solemn occasions during the month of December, annually, have caused some controversy within the communities impacted by the events. Some persons are actually offended that not everyone is familiar with their own December event or occasion – as if everyone knows them personally. Our current society is just “egocentric” and unable to understand the concept of “us” and/or “we!”
As indicated above, there are a multitude of events and happenings throughout the world this month. The variety reflects the distinctive and multicultural legacies that we all offer and share with our communities, cultures, friends and neighbours throughout our world.
However joyous we may feel this time of the year, we also need to remember that there are also many, indeed, too many who are suffering through no fault of their own. They are all around us, in our very own neighbourhoods and across oceans.
In both Gaza and The West Bank, The Sudan, the victims of hurricanes in Jamaica and the Caribbean; struggles, suffering and violence that daily affect many and provide no happiness nor joy to multitudes who are located everywhere.
For those of us who are experiencing the “good times” and festivities of the month of December, it also is important for us to especially remember and share with those who are in need. Their predicament is not of their choice or their control. Our responsibility is to share, even just a little, in order to give to them a hope and a reason for living through yet another day.
This concern and this helping of others enables us to extend ourselves and our festive spirit. It empowers us to offer kindness where it is needed most – in the lives of strangers in order for them to feel a part of our joy.
Sometimes, a single gesture, a simple good deed affords us more rewards than all the joy combined. The fact that we, as an individual – bare or textile – performed this act is the greatest reward imaginable!

When it was originally observed, HIV/AIDS was an almost completely fatal diagnosis with countless deaths following varying periods of immense misery and suffering. Since that time, enormous progress has been made in medicine, and the disease is no longer considered synonymous with death. Although there is still no known cure for the virus, there is now hope that one is possible within the foreseeable future.
The virus that causes the condition known as AIDS was first identified in the middle 1980’s decade. For decades, it was considered an exclusive “gay” disease or else a disease of intravenous drug users. This led to excessive discrimination against those two communities. Massive prevention education efforts globally resulted from the stigmas surrounding the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. AIDS is a result of HIV infection. Two basic facts that remain true, still today.

The above quote appeared in the numerous versions of the Red Cross HIV/AIDS prevention education curriculum. This essential fact was vital in combatting the bias against certain persons and communities.
What Is World AIDS Day?
“World AIDS Day is a global movement to unite people in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Since 1988, communities have stood together on World AIDS Day to show strength and solidarity against HIV stigma and to remember lives lost.”
“In the UK, more than 105,000 people are living with HIV. Globally, an estimated 38 million people live with the virus. More than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS related illnesses over the past 40 years, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history.”

Focus on the need to renew the international commitment to addressing HIV/AIDS challenges globally. The situations may vary but unfortunately the causes frequently remain the same: bias and discrimination. Prejudices are “learned” behaviours that are based primarily on fear and ignorance.

To refresh one’s memory of the status determinations applied for HIV/AIDS.
HIV Negative (HIV-): means that one has tested negative for the human immunodeficiency virus HIV. After the initial testing, the counselor administering the test will recommend a repeat test to confirm the results.
HIV Positive (HIV+): means that one has the human immunodeficiency virus HIV. A counselor will discuss the test results and provide information regarding services available.

The Beginning of World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day (also known as World HIV Day) was initially conceived by James W. Bunn and Thomas Netter, two public information officials for the Global Programme on AIDS at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland. They jointly introduced the idea and concept to Dr. Jonathan Mann, Director of the Global Programme on AIDS (now known as UNAIDS) in August, 1987. Dr. Mann liked the idea, approved it and the date of 1 December 1988 was selected as the initial observance.

The Red Ribbon Campaign:
The awareness ribbon strategy was adopted within a few years of the World AIDS Day commemorations. The Red Ribbon Campaign received immediate international recognition. The campaign soon expanded beyond just the World AIDS Day occasion and the red awareness ribbon became synonymous with HIV/AIDS awareness. The red awareness ribbon continues to designate HIV/AIDS awareness as well as knowledge of the disease, the prevention of infection and compassion to persons living with HIV.
The colour of red is noted as representing “life.” This was a deciding factor in choosing the design of the HIV/AIDS awareness ribbon and campaign.

The Condom:
The use of a latex condom remains, even today, as the most effective tool in preventing the transmission (spreading) of HIV during sexual engagement. With all the advancements in prevention strategies and treatments, a latex condom is an essential element in stopping the spread of HIV during sex.
Allergic to latex? Not a problem. Consult your physician, pharmacist or trusted HIV counselor.

Summary:
HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, is today a very manageable and treatable infection that no longer imposes the outcome of suffering and death it originally produced. With the medicines and treatment strategies currently available worldwide, persons infected with HIV (HIV+) are now able to enjoy long and productive lives while undergoing care and/ora treatment programme.
A gentle reminder that at this time, there exists no known cure for HIV. However, testing, knowing one’s HIV status and receiving care and treatment options if HIV+ permit many unlimited hopes for a full life!

USA: Thanksgiving Day
Last Thursday during November, annually!
The Thanksgiving Day holiday is the very first USA observance of an event that supposedly happened here before any dreams of independence even occurred. Allegedly, the Indigenous peoples and the early immigrants shared a meal together thankful for their mutual assistance in producing a plentiful crop to harvest.
Probably every one of the original 13 colonies have a legend that proclaims their colonial heritage as being the actual location of the very first Thanksgiving. Given the history of the early settlers and their distrust of the native population, and vice versa, it remains questionable if there ever was an “original Thanksgiving.”
One fact not in dispute is that the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, be it historical or legendary, always features a turkey as the main course.
A turkey with tanlines!
As to whether or not the turkey honestly has tanlines is questionable. However, I can’t imagine the amount of sunrays absorbed having any impact on the taste of the turkey!
In years past, the day after Thanksgiving always marked the mad rush for gift shopping for the winter holiday season. Now, that seems to occur earlier and earlier each year with no feast to unofficially launch the approaching season. People will do whatever is best for themselves regardless of whenever it happens.

Of course, we all know that there are no public transportation airlines that will permit us to fly clothes free! There may be some private flights that allow clothes freedom, however, the price for that service is not something that my spouse, Aaron, and I are willing to pay. So, we’ll just continue to dream of that possibility!And until that dream becomes real, we have no choice except fly textile!
Actually, our flight back to the USA is scheduled for Thursday, 20 November. I needed a post for Friday, so I published this date instead. I didn’t want to offer more confusion than necessary! Aaron, my spouse, has a training seminar he is offering at his hospital on Sunday and Monday. Afterwards, we depart for a brief visit to his parents in Toronto. They were both very supportive with mother during their stay with our family and we both feel the need to visit them in appreciation!
The weather seriously impacts our travel north into Canada during the winter. Besides, his parents own a home near Tampa, Florida, and they enjoy their winter days there with relief from the frigid cold! Their hesitation in an invitation to come and stay with them while they’re there? They know of our dislike of anything cold and they fear we just may move in with them! LOL!

Colin Black first appeared – actually exploded – on the SGL adult film industry scene in 2012! His career rapidly expanded upon the release of his first DVD film. In his very first published interview, he openly and unintentionally committed a major blunder by publicly denying any desire or interest in performing in the alpha (domineering, penetrative) role. He took a breath and then announced that he loved lying around, totally naked while his partner plunged into his buttocks!
A total shock! Unexpectedly, the news of Colin’s surprise revelation with his initial interview became a global sensation not only within the SGL world but in the mainstream universe, too. Overnight, numerous SGL film adult studios “blacklisted” (banished) him from ever working in their facilities. Yet, the news of his public announcement created an astronomical disappearance of his DVD from availability due to sellout and soaring demand. His appealing and handsome face and shirtless body didn’t hurt, either!
Within several days, the SGL film industry rescinded his ban, and studio executives began begging for his services. In less than a week, Colin jetted from anonymity into international fame. Of course, his diverse heritage – African-American, Korean and Indigenous (Native American) – helped to fuel his popularity!
His “perfect looks” (attractiveness) and the fact he was openly gay continued to gain attention and his notoriety soared! A very bold commencement for a newcomer into the industry!
He acknowledged having very little natural body hair – essentially only armpit and pubic – and he wasted no time pretending to conceal or to remove the masculine hirsuteness he possessed. In another interview, he readily admitted to shaving his armpit and pubic hairs upon his graduation from high school (secondary school). At that time, he promised himself he would never do that again!
He eagerly attributed his interest and pursuit of a film career as being due to his personal pride in being a Black gay man and a practicing naturist/nudist. He believed he could serve as a role model for other Black gay nudists and positively represent his identified community for those who may share similar interests.
The SGL film industry presents “Hookie Awards” (gay academy awards) within the performing community. In 2012, Colin Black was awarded the Best Boyfriend Fantasy award.
His outstanding success was paralleled by heavy substance dependency and severe depression. He abruptly quit the porn film business in 2015 in order to rehabilitate himself and to begin treatment to combat depression. In the autumn of 2015, during his recovery treatment, he was diagnosed with terminal (stage 4) cancer.

Towards the end of his life, Colin remained loyal to both his gay and his nakedness communities. He made personal appeals to groups involved in rehabilitation and encouraged all to remain steadfast to their goal of recovery. He often referenced his own hopeless future as an example to all.
Colin Black died on 22 April 2016 at the young age of 32 years old.

Just a couple of years earlier he entered the gay adult films and then, just as sudden, he was no longer available and then he died. Such a loss of someone so young, talented and physically appealing to all. In one of his last interviews, he confessed to desiring a larger penis. Allow me to explain the “inspiring” title is not referencing any passionate encounter or a wild orgy with unlimited partner availability. Now, for many, those types of opportunities are indeed inspirational they are, at this time, not related to the content of this post entry here today. The subject for today relates to the themes of compassionate and uplifting. A rejuvenation of our humanity in an often inhuman world.
Perfect Timing:
While anxiously and desperately seeking topics to share while Aaron, my spouse, and I have been summoned home to Greece by my mother, the following two posts were miraculously published within days of each other. “Perfect timing” by the authors of two blogs that I have followed for years.
Both authors are SGL (same gender loving) and are remarkable composers – each in their own exceptional and unique manner. In this instance, the “inspiring” theme is the common thread that links the two otherwise unrelated posts in a shared message: do good!

Too often in today’s world, decency, goodness and kindness is degraded and ignored as a weakness. In order to be a success one must be egocentric (self-focused), condemning, judgmental, selfish and uncaring. Nothing else matters anymore.
Yes, it is almost impossible to ignore the world that we live in. For far too long we all did exactly that – ignore the world and those residing therein – and now we must contend with the situation that we helped create. We all share guilt in this matter.
The two blogsite postings represent two steps, separately taken by two different people, to offer a good deed without any personal gain or reward. Two actions undertaken in kindness. A priceless gem in today’s materialistic dungeon of corruption and greed.
A respect of life (canine and/or human) that is a light of hope for all of our world.

Tomorrow, 11 November, marks the honouring of the cease-fire between the Allied Powers and the Central Powers. It ended the Great War that eventually became known as World War I.
The Great War commenced in 1914 following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, the Countess Sophia, by Serbian nationalists in Sarajevo, Austria-Hungary. The conflict evolved into a global one with the entrance into the belligerence by both the United Kingdom and France and their immense colonial empires in defence of the neutrality of the Kingdom of Belgium.
The USA entered the war in 1917 upon discovering a German initiative to encourage the invasion of the US by Mexico.
The armistice (cease-fire) was a prelude to the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, which recognized the surrender of Germany to the Allied Powers in 1919. At that time, the Great War was the most severe conflagration in human history.
The Spanish influenza epidemic of 1918, following the armistice, added to the number of deaths induced by the conflict.
The Great War reintroduced the red poppy as a symbol of tribute to all of those who sacrificed their lives. The emblem honours both the military and civilian victims of the conflict before progressing the same recognition to those killed during World War II and beyond.
The Armistice applicable to the Great War was effective upon the 11th month (November), the 11th day at the 11th hour (11:00 a.m.).
The international conflict has various determinations referencing it. In the United Kingdom and Commonwealth it is observed as Remembrance Day, a lasting tribute for all the fallen. It is a Sunday holiday in many countries. It is known as Armistice Day in the remaining countries who fought in the war. In the US it is called Veterans Day.
The Poppy:
The red poppy flower represents consolation, remembrance and death. The poppy is a common symbol that throughout the centuries has been utilised the reflect everything ranging from peace to death and even including sleep (slumber). In ancient times, poppies were placed on graves in honour of eternal rest (sleep).
During The Great War (1914 – 1918) much of the fighting took place in western Europe, especially in the Flanders region of the Kingdom of Belgium. The countryside was blasted, bombed and fought over repeatedly. The landscape was torn apart by the existence of military trenches.
The previously beautiful scenery was reduced to mud – bleak and barren vistas where little or nothing could grow.
There was a remarkable exception to all the desolation – the bright red poppy. These resilient flowers flourished among the overabundance of nothing except destruction. The availability of the red poppy resulted in them to profusely dominate the graves of those killed during The Great War.

Author: John McCrae
John McCrae was the son of Scots immigrants and born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1872. In May, 1915, he was serving as a physician in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in Flanders, Belgium. On May 2, Lieutenant Alexis Helmer, a Canadian field artillery officer and close friend of McCrae, was killed in the Second Battle of Ypres. Shortly afterwards, McCrae wrote the above poem in memory of his friend and honouring all the war dead.
The poem was first published on 8 December 1915, in London, UK, in the satirical magazine, Punch. It was immediately popular, widely circulated, and reprinted as a fitting tribute to all the deceased.

Why SGL Adult Film Actors Illustrate ReNudePride: Guys Without Boxers!
Prologue:
One of the major purposes/reasons that my spouse, Aaron, and I launched this site, ReNude Pride: Guys Without Boxers! was to create, designate and offer a safe space (blog) where same gender loving – SGL – persons who enjoy nakedness (clothes freedom) could experience, feel, identify and sincerely be themselves. One obvious tool of sharing a receptive and welcoming atmosphere is to offer a comfortable environment where our nakedness and our sexuality is the common bond that enables us all to relate to “home.”
The “header” image (above) proves that our life philosophy as bare practitioners (bisexual or gay naturists/nudists) is definitely not a recent phenomenon (occurrence). From the hairstyles of the subjects, the vintage picture posted above is from the late 1950s/early 1960s. We were actually around before the Stonewall Inn riots (SIR) took place in 1969!
The obvious message from the header is that we’re SGL and we’re clothes free! Not only “back-in-the-day” when the picture was photographed. The .gif image below reinforces the fact that we’re still the same today!
Introduction:
In an effort to provide a comfortable, familiar and relaxing space for our fellow bare practitioners, Aaron and I believe that we should illustrate and represent us with what and who we truly are: our bodies and ourselves! In order to accomplish this task, we feature depictions of us – SGL nakedness – without any embarrassment, guilt or shame. As stated in the first posting entry of this series, we don’t feature engaging in our physical intimacy, but we do honour our awareness of our same gender anatomy and our same gender attractions.
Our being honest does not demand us being evasive. Only the truth will set us all free!
Purpose:
One concern/issue that is often posed is why publish photos of professional adult actors here? Are we recruiting future “gay porn stars?” Are we “promoting pornography?” Are we endorsing a career?
No! We are not endorsing, promoting nor recruiting for the SGL adult film industry studios nor are we encouraging sexual behaviour. The photographic illustrations accompanying this post entry here show the aspect of truth. As bisexual or gay, the male penis for many of us is an anatomical reality of interest – curiosity and wonder. We accept that fact and then we move on.
Acknowledging what we know and facing that challenge is a valid component of what and who we are is, in our opinion, better than ignoring it and pretending it goes away!
We developed this site in the hope that we all, as bare practitioners, experience a dream where we just simply celebrate in a place that allowed us, as a community and as a culture, to just be ourselves! A haven of happiness, harmony and hope!

That will be apparent for all when it is published. Justifications:
Probably one of the major essentials of being a successful and sought after SGL adult film industry “super-star” (extraordinary performer) is confidence and pride being publicly identified and recognized as a bisexual or gay man and extreme acceptance and comfort in nakedness (without clothing) – especially in being the only person fully nude in a studio full of support staff, all of whom are completely dressed!
In order to perform in an SGL adult film career, embarrassment, guilty, excessive modesty and/or shame is not compatible! Essentially, one is awarded a role that requires simply two simple talents: nudity and sex.
The professional actors who excel in this very specific industry, hired as such my executives who crave (desire) the action depicted and who emotionally and financially depend on the financial rewards afforded by this type of employment.
As performers in this industry, their male anatomy (penis) is one of their job assets and responsibilities. Due to it being an absolute necessity for employment, the professional actor has no obsessive or underlying need to be constantly or excessively flamboyant about their possession of this particular attribute nor are they driven to flaunt it endlessly.

For this reason, professionals are ideal subjects for “photo-shoots” (photography sessions) – posing – where their erection (excited anatomy) is not the featured or focused object/subject. This allows them the ability to take one proverbial step away from their job essential status and become their natural, “playful” and relaxed self all with their preferred nakedness and in an environment accepting of their SGL attraction.
The result of this situation is the plethora of pictures created by professional photographers (paid by the studios) featuring the casual and playful actors in various situations not requiring their erections at full potential! A totally different promotional picture session than the routine!
The engagement of those who are experienced and familiar with the needs and skills of posing as camera subjects offers all viewers with pictures that provide better content and quality. These enhance reality and understanding. They also provide identity and recognition.
The availability of the photos offered is free online and financed by the film industry studios. This access increases the sales of the particular sales of the items offered and this increases the studio’s income (profits)! It benefits everyone involved! Admittedly, Aaron and I both enjoy the ability to view these images although at times it does test patience!
Another, slightly less prominent justification for the use of seasoned performers is that the majority of those are indeed bare practitioners (SGL nakedness) so they instinctively are aware what captures the immediate attention of those of similar identification. They also know what information persons seek and where these interests proceed. So the professionals, in order to both increase their audience base and to reward their loyalty are more than happy to at least respond to any legitimate request.

My father died mid-day (11:48 a.m.) on Saturday, 10 November 2018. All of us considerably miss and mourn him, especially our mother. This year, on the anniversary of his death, our family’s church is conducting a community Memorial Service as a tribute to his life.
Mother has requested Alex (my identical twin) and I to be present along with all our family and the local population. Alex and I depart later this same day for our return to Greece. My university has officially sanctioned my instructional absence. Aaron, my spouse, and his parents leave the later part of the week to join with us.
She has also scheduled some time for my seven (7) brothers and I to decide and determine some familial issues that will have to be addressed and resolved eventually. Her preference is to be an active participant in these matters. My siblings and I agree to honour her wishes.
At this time, I assure everyone that mother’s health is fine, at least physically. Emotionally and mentally, she mourns for our father. I accept, respect and understand her reality.
I have composed and submitted a number of post entries for publication here on ReNude Pride: Guys Without Boxers! during our absence.
I ask for your patience, tolerance and understanding as Aaron and I respect my mother and offer our tribute to my father’s memory.
