ReNude Pride: Third Anniversary

ReNude Pride first published here in January, 2017! For me, the time appears to have grown wings and flown past and it is difficult to believe that this month marks another milestone! This isn’t the first public blog endorsing same gender loving (gay) nudity that I have published but it is one of my favorite leisure time hobbies. At times, it is an exhausting endeavor, but for the most part, it is fun!

ReNude Pride is not possible without the assistance and support of the most important man in my life, my spouse, Aaron. He constantly declines any attempt to give him the acknowledgement that he is due even though he consistently earns every recognition that I can offer him. He listens, he searches for photographs, he compliments, he criticizes and he creates photographs.

In many ways, he works as both editor and manager. He also keeps me well grounded and on focus. He even suggests topics for postings and often gives a kind word when frustration overwhelms.

When I decided back in January, 2017, to return to publishing a blog here on this location, I remember spending several days considering the goal and the purpose for this undertaking; all of this even before I selected the title. After two days of effort, I began writing and ReNude Pride appeared the following day.

The name of this online journal, ReNude Pride, refers to our rebirth or renewal of confidence in both ourselves and our nudity as mature adults. By doing so, we can celebrate and enjoy the beauty and experience of being clothes free and proud in a predominantly materialistic, consumer-driven and fashion-obsessed world.

The goal or purpose (some call this a “mission”) of ReNude Pride is to encourage, promote and support a renude (renewed) pride among bare practitioners (naturists or nudists) of all persuasions and sexualities.

I hope to achieve this goal by offering this blog as an online tool expressing my thoughts and perspectives as a same gender loving (gay) bare practitioner in today’s world.

The fact that ReNude Pride has survived for three years now is beyond my imagination. I don’t believe that achievement in any way reflects on my writing ability. There are numerous sites of a similar nature that demonstrate my disabilities as an author. As a professional university professor, I am among the first to acknowledge and recognize my severe limitations in that area.

Occasionally I get asked by acquaintances or readers how to create and maintain a blog. As far as I can determine, there is no simple answer that is going to guarantee success in every case. The needs of the individual authors and their specific life situations will vary and make what is workable for one blog-site not convenient for another.

Another factor that varies is the popularity of the subject matter and the potential target audience. The question alone without any accompanying details or other information will probably get the same response no matter who is inquiring.

A few basic guidelines to anyone considering beginning a blog are applicable in most situations. Select a general topic or interest area and create postings that are relevant to that particular subject matter. For example, one of the two major themes of ReNude Pride bare practitioners (naturists or nudists). The overwhelming majority of my entries here appeal and/or relate to that audience.

Next decide on a target audience and ensure that all entries that you consider for posting to your blog pertain to and are relevant to that particular group. Not everyone who follows and reads your blog will be a member of that audience but your following will include persons who feel that your topics are interesting. Keeping within the parameters of interest and topic help to ensure the success of your online journal.

It is also most important that at this milestone here on ReNude Pride, that I acknowledge my heartfelt and sincere appreciation to everyone who follows and reads here. I am grateful for your friendship and your support!

Naked hugs!

A same gender loving (gay) bare practitioner (nudist) who invites you to explore my blog. At times I may appear irreverent but I am in no way irrelevant!

  1. Congratulations on your third year anniversary.
One of the sad things i have learnt in the period i have been blogging that the posts that took me a lot of time to research get the least engagement in forms of comments and sometimes even views.
    Happy blogging

  2. Happy man-iversary! I love Aaron’s modesty when you try to give him credit for his support. He sounds like he physically does a lot, particularly when the hardest thing most spouses do for writers is to give them time. He sounds like he’s actually made that sacrifice into something he can enjoy doing *with* you!

  3. Congratulations on your third Anniversary. Btw, you have great writing skills!
Many bloggers would say, be consistent when posting or be on topic for your content but it’s more of a guideline than a rule.
I am certainly not a blogger who follows strict guidelines and often write what has been happening with me with some naturism thrown in.
Keep up the great work. It’s always a pleasure to read your posts.
    Naked Hugs my online friend.
