ReNude Pride first published here in January, 2017! For me, the time appears to have grown wings and flown past and it is difficult to believe that this month marks another milestone! This isn’t the first public blog endorsing same gender loving (gay) nudity that I have published but it is one of my favorite leisure time hobbies. At times, it is an exhausting endeavor, but for the most part, it is fun!
Dreadfully sorry for not posting here this past Friday! I have been terribly sick with a severe head-cold since this past Wednesday. To be very honest, I was also extremely nauseous all day long on Friday. I lacked both the concentration and energy to even compose any type of post for ReNude Pride. I apologize for any inconvenience that I caused to anyone. Usually, even when feeling abnormal I can generally put together some sort of post, but this time I was totally lacking for any type of information.
In response to my post this past Monday, Decisions, (click title to view), last night as Aaron and I were in a local restaurant celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary, the subject of the appropriate gravatar (logo or representation) for ReNude Pride became part of our conversation. Normally, my spouse is very tolerable of my ideals and opinions and supportive of any viewpoints that I may share here. However, in this instance, he clarified a point and asked that I share it here.
This particular post is based on another Friday Footnote post that was published here last month during Black History Month. Jussie Smollett was featured during that feature and he’s the solo subject of this Footnote article. I personally enjoy the actor for his role on TV and for the excellent job that he does in representing the same gender loving performers who credit not only their race but also their sexuality in popular media. As January is my anniversary month of publishing ReNude Pride here, I feel it is my solemn duty as a committed bare practitioner (naturist or nudist), a same gender loving (gay) man and as this site’s author, to deliver a “state of the blog” message to reiterate the purpose of this space and my dedication to upholding my sacred duty. Now, if that very verbose statement didn’t put anyone asleep, in simple terms, this is my time to remember why I do this!
Late last year, maybe November, I discovered livingclothesfree, (click to view) a pictorial blog. What initially caught my attention about this site is that almost every post is of the site’s author, Andre Fuller Davenport, doing the most ordinary things while clothes-free. He’s not engaged in some amazing adventure, he’s doing routine activities that any of us do only that he’s proudly and unapologetically nude. There aren’t too many men able to make that boast. Another interesting fact that captured my attention is that he’s a gay nudist, too!
A Guy Without Boxers was the name of my first blog here on wordpress. The reason for that title is that a man without any underwear (boxers, briefs, bikinis, jock-strap, whatever) was…well, naked, nude, clothes-free. He was completely b-a-r-e. Devoid of any type of covering over his body. The exact type of man that I enjoy being. That should be no surprise to anyone reading here on a regular or even an irregular basis.
Once again, it is the end of yet another month, October, 2017. For those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the first full month of our Autumn season. The weather is fast becoming cooler outside and the leaves of the trees are beginning to change their colors. From now on, they will die and the trees will once more become barren until our next Spring season arrives.
The title may be somewhat misleading, so I’ll begin here by explaining exactly what I mean. I sometimes get emails from occasional or infrequent readers of ReNude Pride, or my previous blog, A Guy Without Boxers, asking do I really write “in the buff” (naked) and what do I write about once I’ve encouraged people to try the clothes-free life. They are curious as to how someone can be a bare practitioner (naturist/nudist), who writes a blog all year long on nudity and have ample subject material.
