A Penny for My Thoughts? When Nude Isn’t An Option…

All of us, at some point in our lives, have those moments when we absolutely must wear clothing. Being bare or clothes-free simply isn’t an option. It can be the funeral of a co-worker, going to work or a trip to the dentist. There is simply no escaping the fact that some type of covering is essential for our fulfilling the needs of our everyday lives. Yes, it would be ideal if there was a viable alternative but all too often the rest of society and the world doesn’t cater to our nudecentric needs.

Bare Yoga

Nude (bare) yoga is something that I’ve always wanted to try but have never done before. I’ve often observed men on the beach or in a park engaged in the activity. They impressed me with their grace, poise and controlled movements – the very attributes that embody the art. It’s an amazing exercise to watch but one which I’ve not been able to enjoy. There are a number of clothes-free or clothing-optional classes offered in my area but unfortunately, none of them are convenient for my work schedule.

Nude Photographs

All of us, whether bare (nude) or textile (clothed), enjoy taking group photographs of ourselves with friends and/or family. A permanent reminder of a moment in time regardless if it was a year ago or just the past week. For the majority of us, it helps to refresh our memory of a happy time with those who are important in our lives. Many use some of their photographs to decorate the walls of their home: a “personal” decorative accessory to share with guests.

End of Month Reflections: March, 2017

Here it is, the end of my third month of publishing ReNude Pride! It seems like only yesterday that I was writing my first post here on a blustery, frigid and snowing Saturday morning, in the beginning of a new year, and now we’re into the Spring season of 2017. Time flies and it does offer some wonderful and fun times. One of the better aspects of blogging is the connections it affords in linking with a fantastic crowd of exciting bare practitioners (naturists/nudists). The camaraderie alone makes the barren winters bearable!

Interview: Kenn of “Gay Black Nudist” Blog

Pictured above is my BPM (bare practitioner of the month), Kenn Campbell-Harris, author of the blog, Gay Black Nudist  (click title to visit his site). I discovered his online journal early this past January and he’s a talented writer and a true nude prince! He’s an American and is currently living in Thailand with his husband. Back in January, when I posted my End of Month Reflections (click to view), Kenn gallantly volunteered to grant me this interview. That’s one of many reasons why I consider him a true nude prince!

First Day Of Spring, 2017

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, today is officially the first day of the Spring of 2017! We managed to somehow survive another barren winter and are eager to begin the season of renewal and rebirth! Most of us are savvy enough to realize that just because today is the beginning of the new season, it doesn’t mean that it’s even remotely possible for all of us to strip off our winter clothing and go prancing about in bare abandon.

Black and White Men Together

On both my About (click to view) page and through my postings here on ReNude Pride, I’ve written extensively of my husband, Aaron, and our lives together. What may, or may not, be known by others is that we are a multiracial couple. Aaron is African-American (black) and I am Greek (white). Race was never an issue for either one of us, nor our families, although we have encountered racism when we first lived together and since we’ve been married.

Incompatible: Modesty and Nudity?

An acquaintance and I had a discussion maybe two months ago and the title question was the subject of our discourse. I’m unsure as to how the topic arose, but he was adamant that “there is no such thing as a modest nudist.” He continued his tirade with the statement that all nudists are closeted exhibitionists so the two cannot be compatible. I work with this individual and he is aware that in my leisure time, I am a bare practitioner (naturist/nudist).

Let’s Get Naked!

There are a number of uncertain individuals in this world. Unable to make a decision about which direction they want to go or unsure as to what path to follow. One of the most difficult choices some people face is whether or not to try social (public) nudity. Fear of ridicule or rejection make this a topic most people are reluctant to discuss with family or friends. Many are afraid to admit that they’re curious about being naked and in the company of others who are also nude. Without available resources, they continue to wonder about social nudity and have no one to share their concerns, fears or even to answer basic questions about being communally bare (social nudity).

A Bare Nightmare From Hell!

As a bare practitioner, my worst possible nightmare (horror of horrors) is being forced to wear clothing or a covering at a clothes-free social event. This nocturnal terror is ten times worse than any imagery described in Dante’s Inferno and is comparable to the proverbial “nightmare from hell.” It even surpasses a recurring dream of an unending and repetitive sequence of visits to the dentist.
