As those of you who follow ReNude Pride or who visit here regularly already know, I could not allow this observation of GLBTQ Bare History Month pass without posting pictures of one of the most popular naked past-times, skinny-dipping (swimming nude). The man in the above image is bottom’s up in an indoor pool. Judging by his hair style, it is probably the late 1950’s to early 1960’s, before The Beatles became famous.

In my Reflections: End of September, 2019, published here on Friday, September 27, 2019, I shared that Aaron (my spouse) and I plus Alex, my identical twin brother and his significant other, were visiting Richmond, Virginia (where Twin and I grew up) for their GLBTQ Pride Festival on Saturday, September 28. While enjoying the event, I visited the booth sponsored by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and picked up a map for a walking tour of GLBTQ sites in the downtown city area.
Welcome to the 2019 Photo-blog: GLBTQ Bare History Month Friday initial posting, the first of this series. There are many opportunities to offer images and scenes of a large number of GLBTQ bare practitioners here on ReNude Pride, so it makes perfect sense to me to devote the month of October to feature images from the recent past to prove to us all that our community has been both alive and thriving for awhile now!

This month offers a very unique opportunity for the Bottom’s-Up! series here on ReNude Pride. This is one of the few times that we can feature bare buttocks outdoors for both sets of readers in both the Northern and the Southern Hemisphere. The readers and visitors south of the equator are now into the beginning of their Spring season and the ones north of the equator are now entering into Autumn.
The World Naked Bike Ride is held annually, throughout the year, on every single continent on earth except Antarctica (note: penguins and seals don’t pedal bicycles). The event isn’t restricted by precipitation and most rides continue even through the rain. Downpours may affect the number of riders, but for the most part, the rides are still held. This event takes place all year long as extreme temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere are usually moderate in the Northern, and vice-versa.
Author’s Note: Before you begin reading today’s posting here, please allow me to share with you some background information on this entry. The predictions of the arrival of Hurricane Dorian along the eastern Atlantic coast of the USA were somewhat confusing and, as usual, very unpredictable. There is no guarantee of any path of a severe storm or a hurricane, despite the claims of the current USA president (he announced that the storm would wreak havoc on the state of Alabama).
It is the final day of the month of August, 2019, and time for another feature of male buttocks proudly displayed by men from not only internet sources but also from some very proud bare readers here of ReNude Pride. During the Northern Hemisphere’s summer this year, I encouraged readers from both hemispheres to submit photographs of their buttocks to be published in celebration of everyone’s bottom’s up! This posting commemorates their bare bodies!
First, a very gentle reminder of the meanings of a few of the terms used in the title. “Summer” refers to a season of the year and shouldn’t need any additional explanation. “Skinny-dipping” is nothing more than swimming without a swimsuit or completely bare. “Bromance” is used as a colloquial combination for “love” (bro = brother = male; romance = love). The purpose of this posting entry is to offer insight on same gender love between two men.
As both this month of August and this season of Summer approach their closing, I do need to share a different recipe for a tasty cocktail that is conveniently known as Sex On The Beach. To those of you who were under the impression that this was a very erotic post, I apologize. I didn’t select the cocktail’s name. I’m merely sharing the recipe here in this entry.
