In life, very little remains the same forever. Seasons change, our neighborhoods change and so do people. Sometimes it’s just an obscure subtle difference that we scarcely notice and others times, it’s a major change that catches the majority of us by surprise and causes unsettling stress into our lives. But people evolve, we change, all the time. The person we thought we knew ten years ago could very well be a completely different individual know. It isn’t anyone’s fault, it’s just human nature. For the most part, we don’t even notice it – it just happens.

Labor Day Holiday, USA
Today, September 4, is the annual Labor Day holiday here in the USA. This is the date set aside by the U.S. Congress to honor the endeavors and labors of this country’s workforce and their contributions to the national economy and nation’s well-being. This holiday has no fixed date as it is customarily observed on the first Monday of September every year. It is also one of the few holidays in the USA that isn’t related to either a patriotic or a religious theme. Sort of an everyman’s (or everyperson’s) holiday.
An Almost Fulfilled Fantasy?
As a teenager, I was always fascinated and probably borderline obsessed with the exotic men that I met and/or observed around me. As Alex, my identical twin brother, and I had accepted and acknowledged our same gender attraction since our early teen years, I thought nothing out of the ordinary about this fact. I felt it was simply part of my sexual exploration and self-discovery. One culture that I particularly remember having fantasies about were the Polynesians of the South Pacific Ocean. These included the men from Samoa, Tonga, Hawaii, the Marquesas Islands, the Maori (the indigenous peoples of New Zealand), Tahiti, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Tokelau and other islands. The Polynesians are noted for their seafaring skills as well as their intricate body tattoos.
Naked Shelves?
As the author of ReNude Pride, I’m always carefully trolling the internet in order to find interesting and non-sexually explicit photographs to use on this site. I’m not intending to be a prude, but rather, a realist. I don’t want to use any image that someone, somewhere, finds offensive, sexually suggestive or grossly insensitive. It’s a fine line to walk but in the interests of this site, I’m willing to tread cautiously and be as careful as I am able.
Our Second Wedding Anniversary
Aaron (my husband) and I were married on this day in 2015. We’ve been together since we met in 2010. To be honest, we’ve lived together as a couple since Autumn of the year that we met. Our wedding wasn’t exactly a spontaneous event as mush as it was merely assumed by both our sets of parents that it would just happen once marriage equality became the “law of the land” here in the USA.
End of Month Reflections: June, 2017
It’s the end of the month of June, which means that the USA national holiday, July 4, isn’t very far away. That’s the reason I selected this particular image for this post, there is an American flag hanging from the lifesaving kiosk. A premature reminder that even though it has just arrived, Summer is rapidly passing us by. The nude and clothing-optional beaches are calling out our names – go to one fast before the season is completely finished!
GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer) Pride Month, at least here in the USA, is over for another year. I hope all of us remember to carry around our gay and nude pride until the next one comes along. It isn’t always easy to be a gay nudist, so it is often incumbent on each of us to be as supportive as possible for all of our brothers and sisters. None of us are able to journey through life alone and unaided by others.
In celebrating GLBTQ Pride Month, I published my second interview here at ReNude Pride. The post, Interview: Dean of Black Nude Taurus, was featured here on June 19, 2017. In case you missed the reading the interview, click the title to be linked directly there.
My first cousin, Michael Poladopoulos, began publishing his blog here at wordpress.com during this month. Our fathers are brothers and Michael is 9 years younger than Alex, my identical twin, and myself. Like Alex and I, Michael is also Deaf, same gender loving (gay) and a bare practitioner (naturist/nudist). I encourage everyone reading here to visit and follow his blog. Click on the following title to be linked to his site: Nekkid Furry Boi. I’ve already added his journal to the Bare Blogging Crew page here at ReNude Pride.
Summer is, at last, now officially here and I think that there’s no one any happier than me. This is beyond a shadow of a doubt my absolute favorite time of all the year! There is always so much to see and do during this season, along with the desire to see and do it all before Autumn arrives. Fortunately, the longest day of sunlight in the Northern Hemisphere always occurs during the summer season (June 21).

As we close out Gay and Nude Pride Month, let’s all remember that our month of celebration may be over. However, we all carry our confidence in being same gender loving (gay) bare practitioners (naturists/nudists) with us throughout the year. We should all hold our heads us high!
Naked hugs!

USA: Father’s Day
In the United States, today is Father’s Day Sunday. This is the designated date in which we honor and salute our fathers – adopted, birth (natural), the man who raised us or those who served as our surrogate fathers when our own wasn’t around, for whatever the reason. We think of them on this day and, if possible, we thank them for all the time and effort they invested in us, as well as subtly apologizing for all the anguish and pain we caused them because we were too obstinate, selfish or foolish. Happy Father’s Day!
Beach Time!
Summer doesn’t officially begin until June 21, but here in the USA, this is the very unofficial start of the Summer season as it is the Memorial Day weekend, the first three-day holiday weekend of our Summer. The vast majority of the people in this country always look forward to this long weekend as positive proof that the days of “fun-in-the-sun” are at last here. The travel and tourist industries, especially those located in coastal areas, welcome the return of their busiest season of the year.
Mother’s Day, USA
This Sunday, May 14, 2017, is Mother’s Day in the USA. As the name suggests, it is the day set aside for all of us to remember our mothers. It is also a time to reflect on the duties and responsibilities of motherhood and to honor all the women who perform those duties and responsibilities endlessly, tirelessly and lovingly. This is their day to be saluted and commended for being themselves.
