Today is the official celebration of the birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – an internationally recognized pacifist, civil rights activist and a noteworthy humanitarian. Dr. King’s birthday is a nationally recognized holiday, the very first to honor an African-American, and the very first one to honor a renown man committed to the philosophy of peace. He is also a respected leader in the movement for racial equality.

Happy New Year!
Finally, it is now officially the 2020 year! I offer to everyone following, reading or visiting ReNude Pride my best wishes for the new year and beyond! I hope that everything that you strive towards is attained and for all much happiness and success in everything you undertake! As often as possible, please remember to laugh – even though that may not be the emotion that you feel!
Bottoms-Up! End of 2019!
Today isn’t the very last day of 2019. That happens tomorrow. However, after a winter break of one week, I’m returning to publishing here and will post Bottom’s-Up! today with a special New Year’s Eve post featured here tomorrow. It is sometimes difficult to compose a combined posting that incorporates both the Bottom’s-Up! theme along with New Year’s Eve.
Happy Holidays!
Whatever the reason that you’re celebrating this time of the year, I want to wish the very best to each and every one of you for a very safe and happy holiday! May the joy of the season be with you and your loved ones for this festive occasion and beyond! Aaron, my spouse, and I plan to indulge in this week of rest and relaxation!
Bottom’s-Up! End of November, 2019
As I announced here this past Monday, I am ending November a day early here on ReNude Pride as Aaron and I plan to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with his family. Then, later, I realized that November has only 30 days, not the 31 that I always assume. I hope that everyone who observed the Thanksgiving holiday had a good day. Those who may have spent the entire day shopping for the winter holidays, I hope that you had a productive occasion. To everyone else, simply be thankful you escaped all the chaos and confusion!
Holiday Week Schedule
This upcoming Thursday is the Thanksgiving holiday here in the USA. Legend has it that the early British settlers here held a shared feast with the Native Americans (indigenous people) in either the Massachusetts Bay Colony or here in Virginia. This shared meal was an early attempt to thank the indigenous people for their assistance in securing a fruitful and successful harvest. Little else is known or understood about the origins.
Armistice Day, Remembrance Day, Veteran’s Day, 2019
On this date in 1918, the armistice (end of belligerence document) effectively brought an end to the death and wounding of the Great War, World War I. Although the fighting ceased, the war itself was only on a temporary cessation until a permanent peace treaty was signed by the belligerents. That fact occurred on June 28, 1919. One hundred years ago this year.

Halloween, 2019: Body Painting
In preparation for the Halloween date, October 31, here’s a suggestion for all of those who feel the uncontrollable urge to disguise themselves. Simply use body paint to adorn your body and conceal your identity. It doesn’t involve a costume and is relatively easy for most bare practitioners to enjoy. Our man above simply used black body paint to place a Halloween pumpkin face on his buttocks. How appropriate!
USA: Labor Day
The first Monday in September, annually, is observed in the USA as Labor Day. The holiday was originally a salute to the many laborers who worked in factories or other manual labor jobs. It has since expanded to include every worker – “blue collar,” “white collar,” agricultural, industrial, service, educational, clerical, – and everything in between. It is a time to pause, enjoy a day free from working and to celebrate the “fruits” of their efforts.
July 14: Bare Practitioner’s Day!
This upcoming Sunday is Bare Practitioner’s Day! Before I progress any further on this topic, I should explain or remind everyone that “bare practitioner” is the term that I prefer to use for self-identification as well as to describe who and what we are. I believe the majority utilize the term: “gay naturist/nudist.” In most social settings, sexual actions are not permitted. That’s the reason I’d much rather be a bare practitioner as opposed to gay naturist/nudist. “Gay” has simply too much sexual baggage or implications!
