National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, 2020

In the USA, as well as several other countries, today is designated National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This is the event that empowers the African-American community to accept a major role in the prevention and treatment of HIV within not only its own community but throughout the world as well. The devastating impact of HIV on the communities of color here in the USA emphasized the need for definitive community action!

Photo-Essay: Bare Black History Month

The purpose of this posting is to share images of same gender loving (bisexual or gay) African-American men featuring their appreciation of the bare practitioner lifestyle. ReNude Pride is focused on both bisexual and gay men and nudity, so this is an appropriate occasion to honor those men and celebrate our similarities in our lifestyles!

February: USA Black History Month

What is today observed as Black History Month in the USA had a very limited and a very inauspicious beginning. It began in 1926 when Carter G. Woodson, an African-American historian and the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History designated the second week of the month of February as “Negro History Week.” This week was chosen because it generally coincided with Abraham Lincoln’s birthday on February 12 and of Frederick Douglass’ birthday on February 14. Both dates were celebrated in Black communities since the late 19th century.

Bottom’s-Up! January, 2020

Sometimes, here in the Northern Hemisphere, the Winter is so cold that regardless of the numbers of layers of clothing that we wear outside, we may need to massage our buttocks in order to restore both circulation and warmth! Which brings us all to the posting for today, the end of January, the very first month of this current year, 2020!

Southern Hemisphere Salute!

It’s wintertime here in the Northern Hemisphere, the very barren season of the year that seriously limits any opportunity for natural clothes free pleasure. That’s why I am trying to make it a tradition to salute all of our bare practitioners who reside in the Southern Hemisphere. This is, after all, their summertime and the perfect season for outdoor play!

Office Restoration

Author’s Note: As a preface to this posting entry, please read here. After almost two full weeks of cleaning, restoration and “drying-out” I was notified today that my regular office at my university is now ready for me to return. The projected completion date was estimated to be around the beginning of February. I am in no way disheartened over the brevity of the wait – nor are any of my professional colleagues!

Bare Cocktails

Up until almost ten years ago, one of my favorite bare activities was to attend a local event sponsored by one of the several Washington, D.C., nudist social groups. The monthly (and sometimes twice a month event) was promoted as either “Nude Cocktails,” “Naked Happy Hour,” or a variety of other names indicative of the fact that it was clothes free and alcohol consumption was strongly encouraged.

I Miss President Obama!

This month, almost exactly the same day, President Barack Obama was retired from his office as chief executive of the United States. After eight years as this country’s leader, his term limit of eight years (two four-year terms) was officially over. Funny, but his length of service seemed to have flown by beyond the speed of light. Of course, we all know too much about the fool who replaced him.

ReNude Pride: Third Anniversary

ReNude Pride first published here in January, 2017! For me, the time appears to have grown wings and flown past and it is difficult to believe that this month marks another milestone! This isn’t the first public blog endorsing same gender loving (gay) nudity that I have published but it is one of my favorite leisure time hobbies. At times, it is an exhausting endeavor, but for the most part, it is fun!

Reflections: The Year Behind and Today!

Reflections or thoughts somehow manage to develop without any schedule or reason. They happen when we least expect them or they occur when we haven’t the energy nor the time to devote to them. I accept the reality and deal with it by maintaining a small notebook that is exclusively devoted to writing down notes relating to each specific reflection or thought. Very similar to a “shopping agenda” or list of items to buy.
