This academic year began this past Tuesday, the day after the Labor Day holiday. The overwhelming majority of my students are those that have previously taken a class that I have instructed within my department’s curriculum here at the university. The sole exception to this is a new class that my department head assigned to me based on my evaluations from this university’s School of Inter-Disciplinary Studies class that I taught. This new class is a revision of an introduction to our Deaf Studies curriculum that offers an exploration of both Deaf culture and Deaf studies.

Bottom’s Up! End of August, 2019
It is the final day of the month of August, 2019, and time for another feature of male buttocks proudly displayed by men from not only internet sources but also from some very proud bare readers here of ReNude Pride. During the Northern Hemisphere’s summer this year, I encouraged readers from both hemispheres to submit photographs of their buttocks to be published in celebration of everyone’s bottom’s up! This posting commemorates their bare bodies!
Summer Skinny-Dipping Bromance!
First, a very gentle reminder of the meanings of a few of the terms used in the title. “Summer” refers to a season of the year and shouldn’t need any additional explanation. “Skinny-dipping” is nothing more than swimming without a swimsuit or completely bare. “Bromance” is used as a colloquial combination for “love” (bro = brother = male; romance = love). The purpose of this posting entry is to offer insight on same gender love between two men.
Surprise Social Nudity!
Social nudity is a term often used to describe a social environment or setting where most, if not all, of the interacting (socializing) persons are voluntarily bare or clothes free. It is not to be confused with a situation where nakedness is mandatory or required whether the gathering or assembly is also mandatory or required. Social nudity is a free choice made by all the participants at the event or gathering.
Reflections: End of July, 2019
This particular thought has always caused me an unusual amount of confusion in addition to an inordinate number of questions. Why do male same gender loving (bisexual or gay) bars and establishments always label bare practitioner (naked, nude) dancers as XXX rated entertainment? The facility itself is primarily focused on a same gender loving audience and the overwhelming majority of those in attendance are the same. Thus, why is it necessary to even label the performances offered?
Photo-Blog: Happy Bare Practitioner’s Day!
This date is also known as Gay Naturist Day, Gay Nudist Day and also as Gay Naturist/Nudist Day! It makes no difference if we’re alone in the forest or on a crowded beach, whether we’re inside or outdoors, whether we’re gay. lesbian, bisexual, transgender or queer (GLBTQ), what is primary is our freedom to be both ourselves and clothes free today!
July 14: Bare Practitioner’s Day!
This upcoming Sunday is Bare Practitioner’s Day! Before I progress any further on this topic, I should explain or remind everyone that “bare practitioner” is the term that I prefer to use for self-identification as well as to describe who and what we are. I believe the majority utilize the term: “gay naturist/nudist.” In most social settings, sexual actions are not permitted. That’s the reason I’d much rather be a bare practitioner as opposed to gay naturist/nudist. “Gay” has simply too much sexual baggage or implications!
Happy Canada Day!
Today, July 1, is Canada Day, celebrating the creating of the Dominion of Canada on this date in 1867. This event was the enactment of the British North America Act which unified the colonies of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec into the autonomous dominion under Queen Victoria as Queen of Canada. Today is Canada’s national holiday and warmest regards to Canadians everywhere!
Bottoms-Up! End of June, 2019!
This is the last day of Pride Month for all of us same gender loving bare practitioners so to fully acknowledge the auspicious occasion, strip down to our bare skin and offer our buttocks to all! Let’s show our pride in who we truly are and proudly display ourselves! There is no time like the present for us to celebrate out in the open as confident same gender loving bare practitioners!
The Stonewall Inn Riots: 50th Anniversary
It was exactly 50 years ago today, on June 28, 1969, that the Stonewall Inn riots occurred in New York City, USA. This spontaneous uprising happened as a result of police harassment of the local gay, lesbian. bisexual, transgender and queer (GLBTQ) patrons at the Stonewall Inn and fortunately, the world has changed quite a bit since then. Here in the USA, such behavior by law enforcement today would initiate not only condemnation and civil lawsuits but other legal ramifications as well. I need to insert here that 50 years ago, the GLBTQ community was known by an entirely different label: homosexual. That label wasn’t always complimentary.
