This upcoming weekend has led me to a serious and in-depth thoughtful assessment into my state of mind. On Sunday, November 10, is the first year anniversary of the death of my father. I knew that the first full year living without him would be depressing (at times) and difficult. However, nothing really prepared me for the overflow of feelings of both gratitude and joy as I recalled episodes of my life with Pop.

Bare November
November, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, is the last full month of the autumn season. Generally, throughout most of the hemisphere, it isn’t a usual time where the outdoor temperature is exactly conducive to being bare outside. However, with the variances that accompany local weather, sometimes during November there are days when the daytime temperatures are remarkably moderate and we’re able to enjoy ourselves in nature while completely clothes-free!
Halloween, 2019: Body Painting
In preparation for the Halloween date, October 31, here’s a suggestion for all of those who feel the uncontrollable urge to disguise themselves. Simply use body paint to adorn your body and conceal your identity. It doesn’t involve a costume and is relatively easy for most bare practitioners to enjoy. Our man above simply used black body paint to place a Halloween pumpkin face on his buttocks. How appropriate!
Holiday, 2019!
Today, the second Monday in October, is an official holiday in the USA. For more than a century it was entitled Columbus Day, in honor of the Italian born explorer who sailed the North Atlantic Ocean for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of what is now the Kingdom of Spain. Christopher Columbus was searching for a new route to India but was soon famous for “discovering” the New World.
Richmond: GLBTQ History Walking Tour
In my Reflections: End of September, 2019, published here on Friday, September 27, 2019, I shared that Aaron (my spouse) and I plus Alex, my identical twin brother and his significant other, were visiting Richmond, Virginia (where Twin and I grew up) for their GLBTQ Pride Festival on Saturday, September 28. While enjoying the event, I visited the booth sponsored by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and picked up a map for a walking tour of GLBTQ sites in the downtown city area.
Reflections: End of September, 2019
Once again, another month of this year has almost completely passed by! This year has amazed me due to the excessive speed in which it is disappearing. I can hardly believe that we are now into Autumn – there are many moments where I ask myself, What the hell happened to our summer? For me, it seems as though it was only last week when we were busy welcoming in the new year!
One Fine Weekend Hike
Author’s Note: Before you begin reading today’s posting here, please allow me to share with you some background information on this entry. The predictions of the arrival of Hurricane Dorian along the eastern Atlantic coast of the USA were somewhat confusing and, as usual, very unpredictable. There is no guarantee of any path of a severe storm or a hurricane, despite the claims of the current USA president (he announced that the storm would wreak havoc on the state of Alabama).
Reflections: August, 2019
For all of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere, this month marks the final full month of the summer. For those who happen to reside in the Southern Hemisphere, the exact opposite is the case as their winter is almost at the end. All around our world, a change is everywhere “in the air.” One geographic area prepares to bid farewell to summer as the other prepares to welcome the arrival of spring!
Summer Skinny-Dipping Bromance!
First, a very gentle reminder of the meanings of a few of the terms used in the title. “Summer” refers to a season of the year and shouldn’t need any additional explanation. “Skinny-dipping” is nothing more than swimming without a swimsuit or completely bare. “Bromance” is used as a colloquial combination for “love” (bro = brother = male; romance = love). The purpose of this posting entry is to offer insight on same gender love between two men.
Sex On The Beach, Part 3
As both this month of August and this season of Summer approach their closing, I do need to share a different recipe for a tasty cocktail that is conveniently known as Sex On The Beach. To those of you who were under the impression that this was a very erotic post, I apologize. I didn’t select the cocktail’s name. I’m merely sharing the recipe here in this entry.
