By now, almost all of us are familiar with the image of a person hugging a tree representing environmentalists. It is used by many as either a positive identifier or else as a derogatory graphic. As we become better acquainted with the knowledge and effects of global warming, this image also serves as a reminder of the fragile relationship between our environment and humanity. This same picture accurately depicts the primary message of the entire Earth Day movement: This is our world, we all need to work together to protect it.

I’m Unbound!
Author’s Note: Please refer to my previous post, “In A Bind,” (click to view) as an introduction to this post.
Finally all my discomfort, profanity and overall foul attitude has achieved some sort of result. This past weekend, the weather and the temperatures here on the East Coast of the USA has changed. We went from almost Winter-like conditions to almost Summer weather all within the span of maybe twenty-four hours. I’m just egocentric enough to take full credit for this change in our meteorological circumstance!
In A Bind!
This has been a particularly trying week for me. Monday morning was not only cold and depressing as only a Monday can be – then add to that it snowed! I think that someone forgot to read the memo that read that Spring is now here! I wish the meteorologists would get their act together and create some seasonal weather for us. This “frequent snowstorm” alert just isn’t cutting it, not in my book!
Magical Nudity
Yesterday was the Easter Feast in the Greek Orthodox Church. My spouse, Aaron, and I hosted several other same gender loving Greek bare partitioning couples over to our condo for a traditional Easter meal. Today’s post is one of fantasy and light-heartedness as I was exhausted after all the preparation and clean-up. I could have prepared better and scheduled my post in advance but I’m afraid I was too busy and lazy to do so. Continue reading Magical Nudity
Happy Easter!
Today is Easter Sunday in the Churches of the Eastern Orthodox tradition. To everyone who observes this holy feastday, I send best wishes for a Happy Easter! “Christos anesti!” (The Christ is Risen)!
Aaron, my husband, and I are celebrating by hosting a traditional Greek luncheon in our tiny little condo with two couples who are also Greek same gender loving bare practitioners (naturist/nudist). We don’t require our guests to decorate their buttocks as the guys above, but we don’t discourage it either! We haven’t yet decided on whether we’ll decorate our own buttocks but we do have the body paint available in one of our closets!
A Scenic Hike
Nothing is better than a bare hike in the Springtime. First and foremost, it’s great to be able to wander and explore clothes-free after the Winter doldrums. Secondly, it’s fun to strip and hang-out clothes-free with acquaintances and friends after the same Winter season. The first hike of the Spring helps to welcome a return of the re-birth and renewal of nature following the barren and almost lifeless period of hibernation. Plus, it’s just absolutely fantastic to be completely naked outdoors again!
Finally!
I suppose I shouldn’t be so impatient, but I am at last able to share the fact that a “taste” of Spring-like temperatures have belatedly arrived in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area! By no means is the winter completely finished – I am much too savvy in the fickle patterns of weather to admit that. There are some aspects of life that never change and one of those is the reliability of our weather. The later days of this past week and the weekend provided us with a sampling of what’s (hopefully) coming our way!
Bottoms-Up! March, 2018
Today is the last day of the month of March, 2018. Already, it’s once again time for another bottoms-up! celebration to salute the passing of another page on the annual calendar. This also commemorates the first buttocks salute for Spring, 2018! The season has changed and before too much time passes all of us will be able to bare our bottoms outside for all to admire! Booty-beauty to adorn Mother Nature!
Reflections: End of March, 2018
Its at long last the end of March, 2018. Usually, I don’t mind this month of March as it brings with it the arrival of Spring – and the renewal of nature. However, this year has been disastrous as we’ve had two snowstorms in just this month alone. Not only that, but both of those happened after the official beginning of Spring. Yes, I know, this is highly irregular but I’ve already posted about that earlier this week so I won’t repeat myself here – again!
Hello Spring!
Warning: Under no circumstance toss away your Winter outdoor gear or warm, snuggly blanket anytime soon! It may be officially and methodologically Spring now, but that fact doesn’t guarantee warmer temperatures anytime soon! Case in point, the second day of Spring had the northeastern region of the USA facing major snowfall, including the mid-Atlantic area where yours truly lives. I had to clean my car off twice: when I left in the early morning to take the subway into work and then again when I left the subway to return home.
