Here in the USA, this upcoming Sunday, May 12, 2019, is Mother’s Day. That observance is the time where everyone honors their mothers and the concept of motherhood in a special way. One of the traditional duties of being a mother usually involves preparing the family meal and this has led to one of the favored customs of this day: either preparing a feast for our mother or taking her “out to eat” a meal on her special day.

May Events, 2019
The heading photo and the calendar for bare events for this month are located on the website of Nudist Planet, founded and authored by my fellow bare practitioner and blogging buddy, Kenn. Both Kenn and his spouse currently live in Thailand and for the past several years, he’s published his website as a tool to increasing interest and knowledge of clothes-freedom everywhere for everyone. Metro DC Exotics: Audition
ReNude Pride is a blog that celebrates and is dedicated to the ideals and principles of non-sexual nudity. There’s nothing wrong with sex, it just isn’t a practice that is basic or essential to the concept, enjoyment and practice of clothes freedom. Bare living is not based upon nor exclusive upon any physical intimate activity. Naked, nude and nudity are not synonymous with any sexual activity. However, this episode from my past does come close to involving me sexually.
A LOVE-ly Weekend!
This is not a very lengthy posting today. This past weekend both my spouse, Aaron, and I celebrated our birthdays. Aaron’s day is April 5 and my own is April 6. This year Aaron had to work on his birthday and fortunately for me, mine was on Saturday and I had no classes to teach. The result was a complete two days, both Saturday and Sunday, with just the two of us together at home!
Aaron’s Brother: Cedric
Virtually all of us have a friend who is casually interested in our pleasure of nudity, is curious about our clothes-free schedule and social life and accepts our lifestyle. This person may even support our choices but remains a member of the textile or clothes-wearing world. Once Aaron (my spouse) and I began living together and he became more active in his bare practicing, his oldest and only brother, Cedric, started to really take an interest in what we were doing.
Reflections: End of February, 2019
This is one of the monthly features here on ReNude Pride where I share with those reading here progress in my attempts to offer the best in the world of bare practitioners (naturist/nudist) and in the world of same gender loving (gay) and bisexuals. I started this feature as a tool to keep readers aware and informed. So much happens in our world today that it is almost impossible to stay current.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
To commemorate St. Valentine’s Day together, take a photographic “selfie” (self picture) of you and your significant other, boyfriend, or spouse. This tiny gesture not only says “I love you” more than words can ever convey but it also serves as a visual reminder of where you are and who you’re with on Valentine’s Day, 2019. Caution: you may not want to save a bare image of you and your man on your phone, especially if you allow others to use it!
Love = Love
This is the week of Valentine’s Day (February 14, to be exact), 2019. So if anyone has forgotten, be advised that any excuse for ignorance is now null and void. Everyone reading or visiting here is now officially reminded that this date is almost upon us – and is fast approaching! Get busy and plan accordingly! This upcoming Thursday is the day to symbolically present our loved one with a token of our affection and appreciation.
February 7: National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
Author’s Note: This posting is offered in anticipation of February 7, and National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. It is published beforehand to allow readers to explore developments and opportunities for involvement prior to the actual date.
In the USA and several nations in the Caribbean, February 7, annually, is observed as National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day for the communities of African descent to focus on the disproportionate (unequal) impact the current HIV/AIDS crisis is having on the various communities of African and Black heritage. This date is observed to bring the different communities and institutions together to explore ways to combat HIV infections and to replace ignorance with facts and knowledge.

Cluttered Closets
Author’s disclaimer: this is *not* a post about closet space that is filled from the floor to the ceiling and from wall to wall with unwanted and mostly unused items. During this early part of the new year, 2019, most, if not all, of us probably would benefit by conveniently losing some of the excess baggage that we have cluttering (overflowing) in our lives (closets). By the word baggage I’m referring to those who we call “friends” even though we’re loathe to spend any amount of time with them.
