V-Day Photo Project

Valentine’s Day is two days away and for those who are still trying to decide on a way to make that day memorable, here’s another idea that may help. The first Valentine’s Day that Aaron and I were together as a couple (pre-marriage) we commemorated this date by having a couple who are our friends take photographs of us together. We then reciprocated doing the same for them. We discussed this project prior to our shoot and planned eight or nine poses that we believed captured our essence as a partnership.

S’Naked!

S’naked is nothing more than a combination of the words, snow naked = s’naked. As the combination suggests, it is a variety of activities that bare practitioners (naturists, nudists) engage in when outside in the snow. It involves whatever activities the men who are s’naked wish to engage in, from snow-ball battles to lying down and creating snow angels. The possibilities are endless and there are no guidelines as to what does or does not constitute s’naked. That’s the beauty of being bare in the snow!

Southern Hemisphere Salute!

ReNude Pride in this post salutes all of its followers and readers who live in the Southern Hemisphere and are now enjoying their Summer! Have fun, be safe and please remember to wear sunscreen whenever you go outside. We all want you to be able to enjoy every day of your sand, sun and surf season. This post also reminds those of us who live outside of that region that those happier days will soon be returning to us as the seasons progress.

Bare Travel

Taking the subway is a hassle-free means to get to your destination. There would be even less stress involved if those of us who are bare practitioners (naturists/nudists) could enjoy the convenience of travelling clothes-free as is Daniel Shoneye in the photograph above. I know for a fact that if nudity were allowed, I’d subway all over the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Alas, that’s probably never going to happen anytime soon but at least I can hope for clothes-freedom somewhere in my future!

South Africa Nude Week

One of the best reasons for all bare-practitioners (naturists, nudists) in the Northern Hemisphere to pack their passports, beach towels and sunscreen and fly-away to South Africa is upon us. It is now almost South African Nude Week. A time for South Africa to feature and showcase itself as a premier destination for all of us who enjoy the delights of clothes-freedom.

A Halloween Picnic

This weekend is the weekend before the Halloween celebrations here in the USA. In the accompanying photograph, I’m posing in my 2012 Halloween costume – a mask with a salmon-colored “clip-on” bow-tie – and, obviously wearing nothing but my natural skin. A very comfortable and enjoyable costume for me. The only stress that I recall encountering that year was in trying to put on the tie that clipped-on in the back. Thankfully I had my then-boyfriend, Aaron (who’s now my legal spouse) to help me get the clip fastened.

GLBTQ Bare History Month #4

Today marks the final Wednesday installment of a post commemorating October as GLBTQ Bare History Month here at ReNude Pride. Every Wednesday during October, which is GLBTQ History Month in the USA, we’ve celebrated this time as GLBTQ Bare History Month because there isn’t an entire month for us to experience exploring our common nude or clothes-free heritage. This combination allows us all to honor both our gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer community along with our bare (naturist/nudist) community simultaneously.

October’s Bright Blue Weather

When I was a student in primary school, our teacher periodically assigned poems for all of us to commit to memory in order to increase our comprehension of the written English language. As we were all Deaf, this assignment entailed us to not only remember the English words as they were written, but also their equivalent in our manual language: American Sign Language (ASL). For students who were either ten or maybe eleven years old, this was a very intimidating task and was not undertaken lightly.

Creative Drying

Being a bare practitioner (naturist/nudist) for almost my entire life, I admit that I have seen things that probably would be unbelievable to most of my faint-hearted textile (clothes wearing) acquaintances. Some may even being disgusted with such sights but I have no way of knowing what, exactly, they find disgusting: the nudity or the action. But I imagine it’s safe to think both. Narrow minds don’t tend see beyond their noses in order to pass judgment upon others.

My Summer, 2017, Reading List

What those who regularly read here already know, Summer is my favorite season of the year. Not only is it a time to wander outdoors bare, unburdened by clothes, but as an professional educator, it’s the time of year with no lessons to prepare or lectures to give. Much of my free time, spent outside, is in the company of a book. Reading mostly for pleasure and not research. Being bare at will and with books in the heat and humidity are the major reasons why I enjoy summers.
